"On the flip side, there is an easy way for him to prove me wrong. Every Infineon TPM comes with an Endorsement Key, basically an RSA secret key. The purpose of this key is that it should be kept secret and never realized off the chip, not to software, not to any other board component."
Without that key how do those other pieces of hardware know they're in the proper system?
C'mon, there's a basic request/response mechanism that HAS to happen along the line somewhere for identification and verification.
Man can make it, man can break it. Period. This is the hacker motto.
Actually, I just checked said NDA, as it has been at least five years since I worked for them, and my NDA is over, so....
Support has NEVER been fully dropped and never will unless IBM becomes non-viable in the marketplace. On top of that, long-term contracts Apple has with some companies pretty much ensures that they keep some minimal amount of POWER support active, at least into the next decade.
Oh, I'm sorry, did I break your bullshit reality bubble? Get a real job in the industry and maybe you'd have half a clue.
Actually, Verizon is screwed. If they wish to maintain certain legal status they'll unblock 4chan and fast. Otherwise they'll become liable for any copyright infringement going on their network because they're showing that they are actively monitoring and controlling data, instead of acting as a neutral data routing service.
Wow, I make a smart-ass remark and you ignorant fucks can't even see the joke.
"Ah yes! An Obamaite screaming "Pay not attention to the man behind the curtain!""
I'm not an Obamaite, you driveling republican piece of shit. I belong to a political party with more brains and sense than you or your ilk will EVER possess in your lifetime. Fuck you Democraps and you Republitards and Liberturdians. You're all a bunch of useless fucks.
Many places, like China, are moving back to silver and gold trade. I've seen a couple of similar places pop up here in California, you can buy food with your earrings and get change.
"Actually what caused the great depression is that the market started getting rocky, so everyone pulled their money out at the same time... something which the banks were unable to do"
BECAUSE OF.....
" * You deposit $100 at the bank.
* The bank sets $10 aside as a reserve
* The bank loans $90 to bob, with interest
Now, while you still have your $100 (its in the bank), there is someone else running around with $90"
The banks couldn't give people their money back because they already fucked up loaning it out to other people. This is basic history, not even fucking economics.
Run half a cow thru one and you'll probably seek professional help just from how high of a pitch of delight you emit as you watch the bandsaw rip through the carcass.
I started off at 15, kept at it for 3 years, made my way to second head chef for the attached catfish restaurant (actually helped mask the smell of the open-air oriental market that it was attached to, totally exposed.)
I believe the acronym you're looking for is OSH in reference to hardware, not OSS.

And it's a piece of shit, too.
"providing 4 GBytes/s bandwidth to support ATI Radeon graphics cards to enable you to run the most demanding graphics applications."
Sorry, my crap onboard 8600GS tears that apart at 22.4GB/s
Needs moar lanes.
Nope, they cannot, just an effect of OSX's security permissions and driver model. Rebooting is required.
Besides, what's the point of having dual GPUs if you can't use both simultaneously for really heavy data processing?
Oh, that's right - Intel IGP, nVidia Discrete - you couldn't SLI it anyways without some serious hardware and software workarounds.
Why? So when my GPU fucks itself I have to buy a whole new cpu/GPU combo?
No thanks, I'll stick with discrete individual parts - makes repairs and upgrades so much easier.
Actually, I just checked said NDA, as it has been at least five years since I worked for them, and my NDA is over, so....

I do indeed. I work with semiconductor fab quite often. It's part of my business selling horticultural LED lighting.
And LEDs are prone to the same failures as any other semiconductor-based technology.
Go suck it. :P
Because Verizon and Verizon Wireless ARE TWO SEPARATE ENTITIES.
Or did you not know that, douchebag?
LOL You're in no position to know.
I am, however. But my NDA forbids me from saying anything.
Because there's more shit on the die to fail and go bad, quickly rendering your cheap solution useless and slow.
Also, it needing more processors to get the same job done means it's likely a weak POS to start.
"for about the 500th time, ISPs are not, and do not want to be common carriers."
For the thousandth time, VERIZON WIRELESS IS NOT AN ISP BUT A PHONE COMPANY.
COMMON FUCKING CARRIER STATUS APPLIES.
Been in court over this bullshit once regarding my phone plan.
Verizon Wireless only. FiOS, DSL are not affected.
I've been in court over this - have you? No? Shut up.
To the moron moderators that modded me redundant:
Do a ctrl+F and do a search on the term KGB - any and all mentions are AFTER my post, by one day.
Me saying it first means it is not redundant. Everyone else saying it after me is. Try again, fools.
I can't access 4chan using my VW modem for my laptop.
My Time Warner Cable gets 4chan just fine.

Applaud it's fucking awesome placement just a few commercials after the KGB ad. *BIG* 'Fuck You' to both KGB and Bing.

"So, how is that Hopey Changey thing workin' out for you?"
I dunno, Ms. Palin, how's that r-word campaign working out for ya?
"The bribes are big enough to keep the politician in hookers and blow perpetually."
I guess we can safely force government workers (Senate, etc.) down to a $1/yr salary, then.
"Banks don't create money?"
No, they don't. Our money doesn't exist anyways as it's fiat and not backed by something tangible.
We're using a fiat currency, money doesn't fucking exist, therefore banks do not create money.

I'm no pro, but I do forge my own blades. http://traintagspotter.deviantart.com/art/Newly-Forged-Sword-71353126 old pic but one of my better works.
