Agreed that corporations need to pay their taxes. In fact, one of the only reasons Intel came to Washington County, OR is because we gave them a HUGE tax break.. The price we pay. :(

  2. After-Market ipod accessories are generally poor on Is Apple Trying to Take Over iPod Accessories? · · Score: 5, Interesting

I dont feel that there is any issue with Apple releasing their accessories. In fact, the "Apple" Branded accessories I have purchased for the NANO are much better quality than third parties. An example is the armband which is a leather that feels much softer and gentler on the skin. Third party accessories for the same item are half the price, but normally elastic and plastic.

It all comes down to quality of product, and I would much rather have something confortable and that lasts longer and looks nicer for a little more..

One exception is the new itrip nano.. that thing rocks.

Since when did the government start caring about our children. I have a simple solution, Don't leave your child on your computer with internet access alone. When they are old enough to browse and be responsible by themselves, they are old enough to look at porn.. BUSH ADMIN, quit wasting resources on BS and fix the real issues at hand.. Like our Deficit, the war, social security and countless other items. Leave the parenting up to us.

"It puts that whole Google censorship thing in a whole new light. (Americans aren't allowed to see that video.)" Anyone who has ever actually posted a video to Google Video knows that you can specify which country you would like this viewable in. The option under advanced settings when posting is: ----------------- Regional restrict: -Do not restrict (your video will be seen by the largest audience possible) -Select countries where the video won't be shown: (LIST HERE) ----------------- Now quit playing the blame game on google for censoring.

I would have to say that the launch titles are ok/good and probably worth it for anyone who can afford it. I will be getting mine, but I have disposable money and already an HDTV. Why would microsoft waste a huge launch title like Halo 3, when they really need to save that one for the launch of the PS3! Come the PS3/Revolution Launch, Prices will drop, and they will drop the biggest title Halo 3 then. Its going to Hurt Sony!

Ohhh, one more thing.. This is Mt. St Helens we did shoot at last year when it was at a Level 3 activity. We got past state troopers to shoot the film that weekend by fibbing and saying that we were shooting a wedding up the road.. There were hundreds of others who were blocked at the road block, while we were the only to get up there during this time for the project.. Just an FYI. :)

We did a video last year for the National Film Challenge which is a good depiction of what we thought an eruption should look like. :)

It was a fun video to do and we did it in only about 60 hours. (that is, wrote, rehearsed, edited, and produced)
