I noticed some supicious form posts on my own site over the past several days, coming form Harvard.edu. I had dismissed it at the time as being some random student spammer, but it looks like I may have been on their attack list.
The event logs didn't show the entire string they attempted to post, so at the time I wasn't able to track it back to the source HTML and JS files used. From what I can tell now, they seem to be using a botnet. The above is a permalink to my blog post in response to the event.
As a potential victim, I will be researching the event. As I learn more I will add an additional post with a permalink in that post's comments.
Bad bank! When I go online to view my information or make changes, I want the quickest way in and out. A simple username, password, and possibly PIN is all you need. Just like shopping - Get in, get your stuff, get the hell out. If you aren't comfortable with the security of online banking, do it the old fashioned way and only get information every 30 days.
Just to think... Most of my secondary systems are only connected to power and network... How cool would it be to connect them to only one cable, while the main system has over 30? Seems rather amusing...
As slow as it walks? Unlikely. I thought the turn was kinda cool; someone else made a humanoid robot that can run (i.e., both feet off the ground at the same time). That was like what, a year or so ago I guess... Anyone else have video of that one? ( http://www.idxt.biz/blog.htm )

This was around months ago. On 9/20/07 this info appeared in the blogosphere with video.
Imagine, if you will, chess pieces made out of potted meat. Somebody, somewhere, will do this - The games will be quick; spam smells if it's left out.

Oh, that's just not right... http://www.idxt.biz/blog.htm
I don't see why not. I bought a Garmin and it worked in Japan. There just isn't much data available overseas.
