We used AlphaSmarts in English class a few years ago... They worked really well for typing stuff up during class, and we'd just pritn everything out at the end. It's not quite as portable as one would like, but it's the closest I've seen to such a device.

A massive level blanketed with snow, huh? Hmmm... sounds a lot like Sidewinder to me. Let's hope this new winter wonderland turns out to be a Sidewinder equivalent.
Here is a cool article on Hackaday that describes GeoCamming, another Google exploit. I like to find interesting cameras and then use NeoTrace to trace the addresses to find out exactly where the camera is. It's quite fun.
