So if I reverse engineer a product that is not patented and relies on trade secrets to function I can get a patent as well? That's effectively what was done here, with the addition of the secret being lost.
Perhaps a really clever person could come up with a way of coating the rebar in a waterproof or non-reactive coating. Maybe it's not cost effective, but it seems like a simple problem to solve.
Sure, so should iMessage, They promised FaceTime would be, iCloud, etc. That wouldn't lock you into Apple's devices. Never buy a device that has to try to force you to stay instead of making you *want* to stay.
Even with blind tastings there is subjectivity, as people sense of taste and smell is quite varied. I tend to be good at picking up secondary aromas (not the primary fruit) but amd not as good at picking out some of the subtle fruit smells. It all come down to chemicals... esters and other compounds, that can be measured objectively, but for now is still quite expensive to do accurately. Any good sommelier can generally pick out a cheaper example of an expensive wine for you based on what you like though. It may not be *as* good as the expensive one, but it is a game of diminishing returns for the most part, although it is occasionally possible to get a *better* wine for less money. Wine sells for what the market will bear, based on origin, availability, and reputation.
I found this lying around on the internet. It looks like at least some of the people at the NSA know damned well that what they're doing is wrong, but don't seem to care (or didn't understand that what is described in 1984 is bad): I'm making the assumption that this is true.
When the changes affect global weather (and other) systems, the can be positive and negative, depending on your location and what period of time your looking at. It's part of why it's so difficult to measure and forecast.
I'm not sure where you're from, but *all* the web software I've seen these days does not require IE, and a larger and larger majority of it explicitly does *not* support it.
Perhaps JODA Time could pull it from the OS in Linux or a file otherwise. It's very much what upcoming time and date changes are going to look like anyway and are vastly better than the built-in support. Alternatively, it's quite easy to tweak a couple of the built-ins using their source to do the same and put them in the classpath before the supplied versions. Not pretty, but effective in the short-mid term.
... they they are generally hardwired to be attracted to men. That's partially why it's so offensive when people think it's a "lifestyle choice".
Sure they can copy it, but they can't patent it. Patents are for *inventions*.

You can use VOIP apps instead where wifi is available. They'd rather kill the phones.
Not to stir up the Rand debate, but if you are using a round robin algorithm for non-equal process handlers, you're probably shouldn't be.
It's from a conversation between her and Prince Philip.
I'll just leave this here.
That was what he said when he started selling 'cars' rather than 'trucks'.
Of a non-network-connected BluRay player? One can probably live with the danger.
Bullshit patents? They're certainly try to anyway.
2007 WM6, also HTC.

... under a blanket made of large bills and stock certificates.
If nerds like cereal, that would be relevant.
A large majority of nerds seem to appreciate having freedom. The populace at large could learn a lot from those then ridiculed in school.

Thanks, I feel ... slightly ... better.
Well, there's only one answer then. He needs to have him killed. It's probably cheaper than hiring a lawyer anyway.

Other than the iCloud stuff, you can do all of that with an Android phone, although I believe you need root to be able to do the full Tor support.
Then you don't want an iPhone,
