Actually, that could be quite a valid explanation. Many companies do what Apple does, and do it even better in many cases. Are you sure your eyes are working okay? I've herd there's a nasty case of blind loyalty going around.

The really sad part is that it's fairly trivial to use GPG, etc to encrypt email these days. The problem is that most people seem to use web clients now, meaning that you need to trust your keys to a web based provider.

I'm sure that's completely astroturf-free as well. MS has been putting a lot of effort into astroturfing reviews, pimping their phone on developer sites, and even shilling here as far as I can tell. They may be able to buy their way into being a viable mobile OS, but they'll need to get a bit more subtle about it. Like many of heir previous marketing, the current efforts are a little embarrassing.

Yes, Picasa and Google Earth use Wine. You can actually get the latest versions working manually, but it would be nice to see a little support given how much they rely on Linux. They do have a Google chat client, which is nice.

Seems to me Google would be much further ahead having an actual Google-branded Linux distro available along-side their Chrome downloads for people still on XP. This is the optimal time for them, before MS starts trying to lock down bootloaders.

Speaking of Picasa, I'm disappointed with Google's support for Linux lately. For a company that actively shuns Windows for its own users, they seem to be lacking in support for it these days. The latest versions of Picasa have dropped support for Linux ... it'll be interesting to see if this has a Linux client, or even better, and open API.

This is 9 feet forward for one foot of drop, with a very slight push forward. It was either the Barnaby model, or a basic flying wing, which is the Barnaby without the cut-outs ... less stable but more wing surface. These are both amazing outside if you can find a *very* calm hot day.

I also remember something about Barnaby having the first U.S. pilots licence.
