They still end up with the same credentials. And if they're a good enough bullshit artist, they can even do better in a job interview than me. Very few universities actually require someone to take a final competency test before awarding a degree. And very few companies test a potential employee's actual knowledge before hiring. So a slacker waltzes through to a degree on other people's work, and into a job based on credentials he or she didn't earn.

It's bullshit any way you cut it. Good students shouldn't have to carry the lazy dumbasses. It's just a way for schools to cover up their weak students.

The CIA has been working hard for decades to destabilize the remaining socialist/communist governments in South America. Looks like they've succeeded in this country at least. Of course, it will ultimately backfire and produce horrific results, as it always does when the CIA goes fucking around with South America or the Middle East. But that's just more fun from the three-letter agency that never, ever learns.

I'm always wary of anything involving group work. A typical group consists of me doing all the work, maybe one other person helping me, and two or three slackers doing fuck-all. So why should I have to share my good grade with the slackers who didn't do (or learn) jack shit?

Actually, my cousin's internet price went DOWN with the switch from Time-Warner to Spectrum, and he got a huge speed boost too. He was paying $70/month for 25Mbps from Time Warner. When he called Spectrum, he found they were offering 100Mbps for just $65. And that's not promotional pricing either. That's the regular rate.

Of course, I still get to brag that I have fiber. So I can still rub my speed in his face. But he's getting a lot closer to where I'm at, and for $5 less than what he was paying. No complaints about Charter/Spectrum from him!

In short, I think most people are okay with these regulations.

I've heard that you basically don't get a lunch break working in their warehouses. Because your lunch break is only 30 minutes, you can only eat in the break room, and most people work so far away from the break room that it would take over thirty minutes to walk there and back--so no one gets to eat for their shift.

I've also heard that the temperatures in their warehouses can get insanely hot in the summer, since they apparently don't bother air-conditioning them, even in the deep south.
