I think it's been established that squinting at a movie for 2 hours on your 3" LCD screen that sucks your batteries dry after one movie is not an attractive thing for consumers. Now if you could buy and download movies from iTunes, load them to your ipod, and output them on your TV, that would be cool.
I'd say they did a better job of capturing the compelling story and characters of the original series than Lucas ever came close to with Episode I and II.
Though I don't know how good the series will be if Lucas himself is involved...
Apple support is absolutely fantastic...if you buy from the Apple Store. It's just another way Apple has you coming to them for EVERYTHING; ie: the hardware, the software, the sales, and the support.
They're like the Walmart of PCs. They sell you everything from cradle to coffin.
When you think about it, Macs really are the BMW of computers. They're classy, expensive, reliable, have good resale value, and are bought for unappreciative kids with rich parents. Some people will hate on you for owning one, but they're really just jealous.

I see that I'm talking to the wrong group of people but many adults find it unnerving, not to mention a bit anti-social, to carry around a $400 portable game machine for the sole purpose of consuming every waking moment of your existence with mindless violence and watching Spiderman 2 for the twelth time.
It sounds like some of the posters are more concerned with "check me out! I'm a hipster nerd with a cool gadget" than the practical uses of overpriced toys.
This is just my view of things, maybe I'm the one living a fantasy world.
I don't mean to hate all over some of the posters here but many self-respecting adults wouldn't be caught dead playing with either one of these, in public at least. They're for kids and megadorks.
That being said, from a marketing perspective the DS is the clear winner because it's designed and marketed for kids who make up the vast majority of the portable game console wielding public.
From a functional perspective, who gives a crap? Are kids really going to pop-in "Once Upon a Time in Mexico" and watch it on their 4-inch screens during lunchtime? Would you? I hope not, unless you enjoy getting laughed at. In which case, more power to you.

It's a fact that Mac users recieve a disproportionate amount of hate from the nerd community for their supposed lack of computer savy.
I could be wrong but isn't it the mentality of hackers, malware writers, and delinguents in general to prey on the gullible and unsuspecting?
Especially the ones with those annoying white earbuds dangling from their ears brandishing their pretentious little white iBooks everywhere they go?
If I was a virus writer, I'd be malwaring all over thier obnoxious asses! Unless, of course, the OS was rock-solid in which case I'd probably move on, maybe write a MS address book exploit or something.
