According to ABC exit polls Obama LOST among white voters 55% to 43%. Watching the media talk as if Obama Walks on water for all voters is just plain incorrect. Obama lost by 12 percent among whites and that number was much higher in most non metropolitan areas of the country.

It is nice to see the media is color blind in all this. Every single Media outlet is copying the exact same words to describe everything about the Obama presidency. Come on this stuff has all happened before, but now because a black man is president everything is now "Historic". I thought we were not suppose to be judging people based on skin color alone? After all Obama is Half White, and was raised by White women. The only thing about him that is black is his skin color. The media has fallen all over this guy, and in the process they have failed to be objective. They have lost all credibility.

How is taxing the top 5% of people going to stimulate the economy? Oh he is going to lower taxes on the middle class? I am middle class and I get back more than I pay in taxes. Under Obama I will be getting a welfare check disguised as an additional $500 tax return.

The top 5% pay 95% of the taxes in the US. Obama will lie to you with a straight face and tell you that if you make under $250,000 per year that his taxes will not affect you. It will affect you when he requires your employer to pay extra taxes, because you will not be getting a raise. It will affect you when corporations are taxed because you buy their products at the store. It will affect you when 100% of people are Government insured and then government has to start regulating what they will pay for and what your doctor can do.(Ask anyone on Medicaid, Medicare how much they like it. And then just wait until it is universal)

When Obama hands out Health insurance to 100% of the population the only way to control costs will be for the Government to mandate cost controls. They will have to say which procedures they will cover and which ones they won't. They will have to tell you which drugs they will buy and which ones they won't. They will tell the doctor which operations they will pay for and which ones they won't, and do you think a doctor is going to perform certain operations if he knows that the government will not pay for it? or will only allow him to charge a certain amount? In the end this will result in Hospitals, and Clinics that are cash only, made for the "Rich" and doctors don't have to cater to the mandates of a Government trying to keep the cost ofUniversal Healthcare from going through the roof.

Any way you look at it this is not a cut.

The cost of the war in Iraq that was thrown out in the debate was 800 billion. Isn't that the same amount as the Government just put up to back the banks?

Obama's Health care program according to his numbers will cost $650,000,000,000 the first ten years. And after that it will be the next "social security." And will require Government to regulate costs for each procedure, etc.

Don't forget that defending our freedoms is the number one purpose of the Federal Government. And yet it is not the number one expenditure of the Federal Government. The largest expense in the Federal Government is Social Spending. How bad is it when in this country we spend more on people that don't work than on our Military.(And this was true before Bush so don't blame it on the Economy)

Leave welfare to Charitable organizations, religious groups, and communities. They get the job done with less waste, provide better service, and the Government does not have to forcibly steal from those who work to give to those that don't.

Government protects our "rights" and so by Obama's logic Government will protect/manage our Health Care "right". Even if you Trust Obama to run Health Care(which I don't), He will not be the only future President we have. In the future they will be talking about Obama's Health Care the way we talk about Social Security now.

Taxes will not have to be raised if spending is cut. Raising taxes will hurt an already hurting economy. Obama's plan to tax the top 5% will hurt the economy even more. You cannot tax the economy into growth. Taxes paid to Government = money taken out of the economy run through the bureaucracy and then trickle back into the economy.
