Obama's fix for nearly every solution is to spend more money on it! Not just a little but allot in some cases 4 time more than the current amount. And how does he plan to pay for it? He plans to raise taxes. Wow what a brilliant idea! But to be fair he is not going to raise taxes on the poor, instead he is going to spend more Government money and give away money to the poor and call it a tax refund.
If you really want to have a great economy don't punish the successful, just to give a handout to the the poor. This encourages the poor to be lazy. Placing the tax burden of the entire country on the successful pulls money out of the economy and places it in the hands of the Government where it is often wasted, mismanaged, and handed out to those who are the least likely to do anything constructive with their money to stimulate the economy.
The only problem I have had with Flash is that on some pages the drop down menus will show up behind the flash. And I don't really know that it is a Flash problem, but it does work correctly with Firefox and Flash on Windows.

First off you body doesn't process all calories the same way. Your body doesn't count calories why should you! Your body uses protein, fat, carbs, and fiber in different ways. There are many good nutritionists and doctors that will tell you that counting calories is flawed, but it is an easy way of telling people how much to eat.

Exactly my point! People have been told to avoid fat because they will end up fat. Soft Drinks have no fat, but lots of sugar. Maybe if they would eat some more fat they wouldn't be as hungry all the time and eat all those low fat high carb snacks.
When it comes to my past experience of losing weight I actually didn't change the amount of food I was eating. While I was gaining 10 pounds a year I was not drinking soft drinks, or eating candy. What I was eating that was making me fat was lots of pasta, potatoes, rice, and bread.(It was basically a low fat diet) At the time I couldn't afford much meat, and without enough protein you lose muscle mass which slows down your metabolism.
Now I eat all I want, I just eat the things I really like. I find it interesting that all the good foods are more expensive.(Steak, Seafood, Fruits, and Vegetables). This is why many rich people don't have weight problems, and yet many of the working class people who can only afford to eat fillers(rice, potatoes, bread, pasta) are over weight. Yet they think they are eating right because these fillers are low fat.

Fiber and protein will not make you fat yet they are counted in the calorie count of food. I have never seen a fat person that didn't consume lots of carbs. Can you tell me another way to use data mining to uncover a terrorist/extremist plot being planned online? Is there any other way to get access to data communications than to tap into lines carrying all Internet traffic? What can be done even with a warrant without a setup like this? Would it be reasonable to put a sniffer box at every house where you have a warrant? Do you think they may notice? You would have to put the box at the ISP and even at that the ISP may not be equipped to tap into a single connection. What if they use the computer at the Library? The only real way to have access to this data is to do what they have done, with our without a warrant. If they have a warrant for xyz they can filter on xyz's traffic.
I would hope they have captured some of my packets that way they know I have nothing to hide.
Who says they broke the law? Congress? They followed an executive order from the President. You can disagree with that executive order, but that does not make it illegal.

It doesn't matter what the price of gas is, I am not going to sell my SUV I drive 1 mile to work and 2 miles to the grocery store. All the other driving I do requires 4 wheel drive and lots of clearance. In the winter Trucks with 4 wheel drive get stuck in the road in front of my house.

And that is why on some computers you have to have 4 different versions of Java! Which really sucks when you have thousands of workstations you are in charge of and the newest version of Java does not run all your Apps.
Microsoft is bribing companies to do this! They approached the company that I worked for and said they would pay them(with free software etc.) to put Microsoft's search engine on all their computers.
We were running 50,000 workstations at 90 sites with 140 servers (120 Netware servers) and 85,000 users. We supported that with a Network Staff of 7 people. Everything went smooth until a virus came along and took down all 20 of our Windows servers on the same day. Most of the windows Servers we Converted to Netware the rest became really noisy workstations.
Wrong, This is the treatment you get if you are a Large American Business.
Ecuador just got a new Anti-American President.
In Ecuador there are so many small businesses (There is a store on every street corner) that they can only enforce taxes on the large companies.
In Ecuador you can buy Pirated Movies and CD's just about anywhere. No taxes on them either.
What can I say, other than I think this is a bad law. Why don't we also make a law that all government officials have to strap a recorder to themselves and record everything they ever say? This law is just plain stupid! Plus I don't think it applies to any other E-mail accounts they have that are not controlled by the government. So should we have our elected officials using Gmail instead of their government E-mail account for something that they are afraid of being twisted for political reasons. This again is just a politics. So who is to blame here? The White house IT Staff? I am sure that President Bush asked the White House computer guy to not backup those E-mails.

This kind of redirection from one brand to another only happens when someone at the search engine has told the search engine that RedHat, Suse, Ubuntu = Microsoft.

Now that Microsoft decided to remove some of the best features and change the program to fit their way of doing things. It has given VMWare time to catch in some of the areas it was behind and become much better than Virtual PC in other areas.

We have an E-mail retention policy.... 90 days! This was put in place by the corporate lawyers to avoid lawsuits.

I agree there are far too many stupid people in the United States. Who would have thought people would be stupid enough to vote for Bill Clinton!
I had problems with Hardware using Ubuntu. Switched to Suse and everything worked.
Also KDE is much better than Gnome. If you don't want to use Suse then you should at least use Kubuntu.
They have had these for more than 10 years. I don't know why this is news now.
