    Not that it matters, but it doesn't work that way... (My full time job involved researching proximity algorithms)... Using Wifi as proximity, you can tell that say these 5 particular people are in a room, but you have zero idea the spatial relation of each of these 5 people to each other, without the aid of other sensors. Wifi or bluetooth will not give you spatial relationships in any meaningful manner.

    Are you that crappy at your job? They use more than one radio (usually SDR so they can simultaneously track BT and GSM), and stores are pre calibrated to map coverage and propagation.

    Argh, why is there so much FUD on this issue? Wifi clients do NOT broadcast anything when looking for access points. They just listen.

    Of course. They just sit and listen for those sweet broadcasts from APs with Disabled SSID Broadcast ...

    Forensics can easily tell if the Drive is fresh and just made to look old. They can also tell if that drive is from a work computer you used daily, or that it was just a second computer you used once a week.

    Mali-400/MP4 is standard in super cheap chinese tablets (Rockchip RK3066)

    Tegra SoCs have TERRIBLE GPU (think GeForce3 performance level), only CPU was fast when they were coming out, and that was due to Nvidia cramming 4 NOT designed by them, licensed from ARM, cores in there.

    EVERYTHING is turn-based. Its called server tickrate. Just because its fast enough for you to not feel it doesnt mean its not there.

    Local ping times are far too high to be usable.

    I remember seeing marketing materials from that cloud gaming company, the large one whose name I forget.

    They had some lovely graphs about latency. They'd managed to get the rendering and compression latency way down (impressive, but probably possible).

    They's also apparently done the same to the network latency. Given that all this supposedly happened in the data centre it smelled like a herd of bulls had recently wandered through.

    Onlive. Their offerings were so great that they went bankrupt.

    As much I as like the consistency and simplicity of metric there is still one area where the imperial system makes sense:

    When I see a distance of a multiple of 60 one can quickly determine how many hours it will take to get there when driving. :-)

    Until time is also switched over to base 10 using miles/hr has a very nice 1:1 mapping with time! (assuming one drives 60 mi/hr.) The metric is a nice scientific system; the imperial system is a "nice" organic system. There is no reason BOTH systems couldn't be kept on the signage.

    Clearly you are unaware of Nvidia fiasco and following litigation. It wasnt "share of the units". It was Majority of them. Basically finding a working laptop with nv8xxx/9xxx GPU is considered lucky (they ALL die sooner or later, ticking bombs), and there are companies doing nothing else but fixing them.

    Because this should have been done 9 months ago. Leave it to AMD to once again just drop the ball. At least they're consistent at failing.

    Better 9 months for software patch than 5 years for process change and MASSIVE GPU die off Nvidia gave us starting with 8xxx models.

    Those two (and Confucianism) are responsible for scientific apathy that encompassed Asia and made them stagnant for thousands of years. You might be familiar with many anecdotes about X being invented in China first, problem was religion was against advancement. Science was just a way to amuse oneself. You werent supposed to innovate, you were supposed to resist the change and live in peace with your surroundings. Stability over progress.

    Christianity was responsible for Dark Ages in a rather violent fashion in the west, at the same time Asian religions made them peacefully stagnant.

    Bought 10 CFL bulbs for my kitchen. They all died in less than a year.

    dont buy cheapest chinese shit, but quality CFLs with proper soft start.
