Who gives a shit? Who doesn't give a shit? Do you have any idea what the impact of this will be on the world we live in? It will be huge. Obviously you lack the vision of a near sighted leg humping dog or you'd see the true importance of this. Developing nations will now be able to affordably supply and build out cellular networks to populaces which likely would've never received the option before. Only a true nimrod would ask 'who gives a shit' in regards to this. GSM technology made that affordably will be HUGE....here's a quarter, go down to the Circle K and buy a clue.
I believe the shuttle is a waste of money. Thus far, there is little proven benefit to its trips up and the risks seem to greatly out weigh the gains. Is it important to venture into outer space? I have no clue. Is it important to maintain the fate of the nation? Absolutely! Are there billions of tax dollars spent on NASA projects that culminate in little to no tangible results and / or benefit? Yes! Do the math....
The argument is stupid. Schools are places of learning, and one can learn in several different ways and from several different sources. Being that this is the case, why not let Creationism be discussed in school? The only caveat one has to be aware of is that in doing so, one will likely need to be open to looking at all forms of non-Darwinian creation theories. In the end, it's up to an individual to make his / her decision. I am not sure what age they start discussing these matters in school, but perhaps it should be done with respect to a childs development and ability to comprehend these concepts.
I would personally in favor of half turkey half hippo combination, imagine the drumsticks? But seriously, if they are clone things, let's export dna from Marilyn Monroe and Selena to the South Koreans, who's with me?
C'mon, don't be so naive as to think that they only security mechanisms Cisco is using are R&S based FW/IDS-type technology. Besides, this was a externally located DMZ host that was compromised (not an internal one), if they had anything on the host (let's say CSA for example), they should have been well prepared for this sort of thing. It looks to me as though this was a host that was given a high priority in terms of criticality. That having been said, the login / user data associated with that system was likely not considered to be valuable enough to warrant more stringent security (both technologically and logically speaking). Or it could've been a simple case that they overlooked the host:-).
If not Fox than someone else. Your personal information and the illusion of its safety are simply running into the reality of the corporate world. If you don't like it, don't use the service. It's plain and simple: $$ talks...
From my experience the failure to deliver has often been the direct result of the client not truly understanding the SoW, the client changing their minds midstream or the sales teams no understanding what they are selling. I've seen the occassional project go south where a resource hasn't been the right choice but thrown in to deliver regardless, thus delaying delivery. It's really pretty simple.

I agree, I like the original table personally. More useful and less like a modern art masterpiece..
