Funny how CRAB and the RNC were the ones that began the warrant less wiretapping and the "unconstitutional surveillance programs" in the first place.
It'll be interesting to see if they resume all their SS and gestapo crap with the next time they get another group of their stooges in the white house.
Hopefully the bulk of their mouth breather supporters across the nation will remember these words of today, but I won't hold my breath on that ever happening.
Yep, my thoughts exactly! Welcome to the Divided Police States of America where you are guilty of anything the gestapo can think up against you, until you can prove yourself innocent.. which isn't going to happen.
If you're an American, probably best to find yourself a remote hole to crawl into until the big meteor or comet that's headed our way hits the planet and resets the game back to start.
Falling "back to debian" translates to falling back to stability.
From time to time I give the latest release of Ubuntu/Mint another look @ to see whats happening on the bleeding edge. But every time after a few short weeks the system seems too unstable, and/or some feature/s I use gets squirrely and I end up returning to the latest Debian, currently Wheezy.
Ubuntu/Mint is what you get when you take Debian Sid, polish it somewhat, slap your name on it as yours, and throw it out there with great fanfare and media hype as the latest and greatest.
What planet are you from? General human nature makes us all selfish self centered pricks. Here, on earth, you put two people within 100 yards of each other and you're going to get some form of confrontation. Theft, argument, fight or death. That's just the way it is, was and has always been. Will pretty much be the same on mars as well.
Although I would like to nominate my ex wife to be on the next shuttle when it leaves..
I always wonder why M$ refers to their business centers as a "Campus" when it's nothing more than a factory and/or business center and/or sweat shop for programmers.
The image that comes to mind, of an M$ programming group, or "campus", or whatever you may wish to call them, is the scene from Meet the Robinsons, of the future world of Doris the Bowler Hat.
The reality here is that $33M to these types isn't but a good time out with the guys, plenty of booze and high dollar call girls. I seriously doubt anyone there will complain.
Not sure how old you are, but I remember a time when commercial passenger aircraft fell from the sky almost weekly, and the industry claimed that flying was still safer than driving. Kind of like when smoking was considered perfectly safe and didn't cause lung cancer.
Those were such fun times, seems Boeing must want to relive them again..
Most people don't want to know, and some shouldn't even be told if the Earth was about to be obliterated by a comet or very large asteroid. But you can rest assured, sooner or later something will come at us and impact the planet. It's happened before, it'll happen again
Funny seeing the subject of gut bacteria in a/. forum. Just last week I was reading an article on the Mercola.com site, link here: http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2012/03/18/mcbride-and-barringer-interview.aspx
Gut bacteria has much more to do with overall health in general that most people think. Weight loss being linked to having all the right bacteria in the gut is also a bonus
Your country's system make too good of sense and sounds fair for all. This is totally unacceptable in the USA and will not be tolerated. Please list your country's name in the form below and the USA will schedule the next bombing run in your area.

Open source drivers suck big time This is why we have proprietary drivers on open source systems, specifically Nvidia. The other card in my box is an ATI. ATI's proprietary driver is an absolute joke.
On topic, I have FF4 x86_64 running on Debian Squeeze x86_64. Very impressive how much faster it is over the iceweasel offering that's packaged with Debian systems
There is an even easier way to do just that Give two people a bag of candy, one a liberal & the other a conservative put them both into a room full of children the liberal will gladly give their candy away to the children & the conservative will take the candy away from the little ones and hoard as much as they can get
I don't know about you, but my 401k is comprised of stock market investments. I know most are. How the hell is Obama trying to steal the stock market? Come on, get real..
but from what I know, the Tea Party's platform doesn't support bailouts.
The controlling puppet masters of the tea party ARE bankers, and yes, they did indeed take bail out money, it was a fire sale authored by baby bush & co. Two faced double speak is the problem. They, the tea party, rely on most supporters not checking facts and/or researching what and who they are. Most supporters are nothing but dimwitted imbeciles
Your mistake is in thinking that there's some fundamental battle between government and the rich/corporations. Let me clue you in... THEY'RE IN IT TOGETHER AGAINST US.
This is not MY mistake. Our elected scum have been courting their corporate donors for years. What I oppose is any and all private corporate involvement anywhere in our local, state & federal systems. The tea party will be just more of the same, just a new set of faces, SSDD.
I don't have any answers except maybe to just get it over with, unleash all the nukes, wipe out most continents and start over from scratch.. we're all fucked!
Well, I for one have issues with the thought of some banker pilfering my social security retirement.
As we have seen in recent years, corporations cannot self govern. When we deregulate and give them more rope to operate freely, more often than not they hang themselves and the rest of us when we have to bail them out.
Giving the tea party power will put the most wealthy into political power. Scenes like the great economic crash and resulting bailout of 2009 will become business as usual.
We can then have wealthy kings and noblemen, and very poor over taxed peasants without much in between, instead of the democracy that America was intended to be. Now doesn't that sound like fun?
Yay, the tea party will restore scenes from the dark ages of europe, I can't wait.
Actually, OOo already can easily replace M$O for most users. Performance and stability are already there. Features.. OOo has everything most users need. Only a very small percent need scripting capability that only M$O can provide.
I use both. OOo interface has been consistent for years. M$O changes theirs with each update. The most recent M$O is not intuitive at all and quite inconvenient to use, for me when I need to get something done. "Now where the fuck did "print" go?" or "Now where the fuck did 'save page as' go?"

Billy Maize (Mays) also sold piles of worthless crap through infomercials.

Virtually no crime

Of course parent doesn't have anything substantial to support his opinion.
This is slashdot, where opinions bear more credibility than point-of-fact
I'm from the government and I'm here to help ..

Don't forget John McCain and his 'little blue pill'
just what I needed, a visual of an old man with a boner

You linked to a right wing paranoia/opinion site. Get your foil hat on. There is nothing resembling any truth there to see. Move along ..
