Does the percentage mean number of collage students entering the field? Personally I've noticed that the colleges are mostly full of computer stupid students. I've tried two colleges over the past two years and I was disappointed with the level of the computer science majors. Some of my high school friends have noticed that and already dropped out and are working in computer related fields so I think those numbers don't show much.
On another note have they ever though that maybe those of us who have skill enough to be in the programming challenge just didn't feel like it, didn't have time or some other excused that we all tend to come up with in the computer field.
They had it all over scifi channel!! The problem I had was my local theater didnt want it.... a better marketing effort would have been to get it into more of the theaters... say give the smaller theaters a nice rate on it so there willing to put it in as a filler movie.
uhh dude Farscape had an ending. He died at the end of the last show.
If you really want a scifi show to come back to life though you have to look to the scifi channel. They have brought many canceled shows back to life. The reason Fox ends so many shows is because there not the right channel for a lot of shows they play. When I want a show like Futurama or Family Guy I think cartoon network. When I think Firefly I think of scifi channel. Each channel has an expected type of show just as Fox has the expectation of putting really bad shows on that its views tend to hate.
I hope you realize that you're showing your ignorance. The least you could do is insult me with class if you're so "educated." By the by I said I don't mind being corrected. Insulting some one is a totally different level. In the futcher you should be careful about who you insult. Calling some one who has a proven disability when it comes to processing of written language is something that shows the class of person you are. Could it be that people wish to not have grand grammar as they don't wish to turn out to be snobbish and looking down at people who could possible be smarter then yourself in many ways? A large number of programmers think in mathematics not English. Do us all a favor and learn to accept that not every one will be like you.
Sounds to me like have no clue what your talking about. I myself have improved my spelling and grammer by the use of the internet, computers, tecknology, ect. Using instant messaging has given me a deeper respect for grammer.
Now is it that most people dont care or are they just embarased that they can grasp a language thats used around them every day? I myself used to get angry when people would point out my spelling flaws, but luckily i have managed to accept that I will never be a perfect speller.
You shouldn't be concerned about shorthand. Its really nothing to be afread of when you realize how many anagrams we use for names of products and such. Please dont call us lazy idiots for speaking in a manner that you have a problem understanding. How would you feel if we called you a stupid for waisting hard drive space or bandwith by typing in what you consider english.
Please look at both sides before you critise people. As both groups in this case should be considered ignorant.
Now they say its about fighting terrorism but doesnt this just open the door for them to do it for anything... as long as they add terrorism before or after it.
