    You are delusional then. x86 translation hardware is a tiny part of modern Intel or AMD processors. You don't seem to understand that Intel can come down in power much more easily than ARM can go up in performance. This is born out by the fact that Intel now has competitors to ARM that are as good or better in some cases in terms of power usage for the cell phone market.

    Watch what happens in 1 year to the tablet market. Yes just one year. ARM will only be in sub $200 tablets - everything else will belong to Atom.

    Intel can't make it lower power faster than ARM can pick up speed and keep the power low.

    The facts would seem to indicate the opposite. ARM will never compete in anything above the tablet level. They don't have the performance.

    They should have used a control, and put cress near a lamp bulb that gives off the same amount of heat.

    Simplest explanation is the additional heat which was nearby but not enough to alter room temperature affected them.

    No, you seem to misunderstand the word "could". Intel will be bringing desktop level CPU performance to Tablets and smartphones. This means they will be taking ARM head on in that space. In the embedded market? Yeah, not so much.

    Wow, they're really partying like it's 2008! Somehow I don't think anyone is afraid of Allwinner unless they manage to steal 28nm and below technologies really soon.

    They are already outclassed massively and it's only going to get worse as everyone moves to 22/20nm and before long 14nm.

    He doesn't need to defend it, you are asserting that there is. Common sense would indicate that older people make more money. Why hire a 55 year old dude when you can hire 2 or even 3 23 year olds for the same amount of money. Experience would of course be a reason but sometimes manpower is more important than experience, and it's up to the _business_ to decide that, not you or the EEOC.

    When Bitcoins have all been mined, they might have a less volatile value, though I seriously doubt anyone will care about them by then. But as of now they are silly, their value can be hacked (see recent DoS attacks) or someone like the US government could just get fed up with the silliness and invest their resources in mining them, horde them, then release them sporadically on the market thus making their value completely unpredictable.
