i use valueclick on my site and it works great - they always pay me, great account management system, helpful support, pretty good reputation (no i don't work for them)

  2. GPS failure? on Guiding Air Traffic Sans Radar With GPS · · Score: 1

what if a GPS sat. was to go out of service? couldn't this have nasty effects? also with everything lately relying on GPS navigation what if say some group of terrorists, rogue country, or whatnot were to take out key satellites, leaving us fucked

  3. Re:In my office... on Shielding Your Office from Magnetic Fields? · · Score: 1

those were radio signals (not sure what kind or why or even anything really about em) affecting the display - it happens with basically any monitor and any radio - it happens on mine too - the question being asked is about "magnetic" fields' interference, not radio interference - quite a large difference between the two

  6. every standard!?!? on Information on Old Computers? · · Score: 1

i think this would be a good idea and all but it seems a bit unrealistic - do you just plan on using only the RFC standards or every standard ever - i mean, there are a TON of standards that were published and and are still being published - it would take years with lots of full-time people to get even a portion of this accomplished

  7. browser - not aol on Are There Problems with AOL's Web Access? · · Score: 1

the biggest problem i would have to see with AOL web access is the browser it uses - older versions of aol used a proprietary browser while newer version use Internet Explorer - lots of times the IE browser isn't updated, aol tends to be slow in updates, so certain bugs or unimplemented features won't work at all

    just my two cents

  8. WINE? on Is There Linux Trip-Planning Software? · · Score: 1

this sounds like a good idea and all but wouldn't it be a little slow for any practical applications, even with 4 cell phones? plus factor in the time it will take to encrypt/decrypt everything

the biggest problem i would find with this is cost, having 4 cell phones on each end on and connected would be quite expensive
