This reeks of FUD. The thing they fear, is that when people can grow their own fuel using a cheap Ethanol still (like this one, the oil-gas megacorps won't add money to their already overflowing coffers.
Just imagine being able to grow your own corn, put it into a machine, and pump your fuel from home. Especially considering that a Gallon of Gasoline is $3.20, and a bushel of corn is much more cost effective.
