I am maintainer for a project that is used in a subproject of mine. I am not involved much in the subproject so I'm just maintaining it becuase no-one else does. I have got atleast one patch that got stuck in the work queue for weeks.
I *will* take a closer look to the patch and I will move this subproject to git (as the CVS server is so slow that its unuseable). Its not that I don't care or don't like the patches, its just that I don't have had the time to actually do it.
sorry...
Interestinly enough, the bible says that animals are souls.
Ge 1: 20,21,24,30; 2:19; 9:10,12,15,16; Lev 11:10, 46; 24:18; Deu 31:28; Job 41:21; Ez 47:9 (The expression "living creature" is translated from hebrew word nefesh which is the same as "soul")
The bible also say humans are souls, not that have souls. Ge 2:7.
The popular belief that the difference between animals and humans are that humans have soul, is not from the bible.
I just discovered Lua and I got my PiL today. Its an fantastic language!
It executes faster than perl, php, python and ruby. It is alot smaller, round 200kb, which is less than 1/10 of a minimal php installation and it has a reasonable Licence (MIT).
The main drawback is the lack of good standard libraries and the build system (for lua 5.1) don't support DSO's on linux. Debian has some patches that uses libtool to build it.
There is an interesting projocet named haserl that will allow you to embed lua in html pages.
So if a regular Joe spreads the word about a new song and induces many thousands of random people listen to it for free it's theft, but if a radio DJ does the exact same thing he gets paid? Riiight.
If they let Joe spread the word they lose the power of deciding what the people should listen to and when. When they buy the radio DJ they have control of what people are listening to.

Will non-christians be able to buy music there?
Will non-white people be able to buy music there?
Will non-windows users be able to buy music there?
Just because the antivirus scanner doesn't find anything doesn't nessesarily need to mean that there are none.
