See, I just tend to not throw my shit around for fun. For half the cost of your tape system, I'll buy two hard drives and back up to both of them. Tell ya what, I'll even carry them separately.

It's also the same idea as a bookstore.

  3. Not everyone can USE this stuff. on Warner Music Pushing Music Tax For Universities · · Score: 1

What about a deaf student/ISP customer? Are they going to be forced into this scam? How about people who just plain hate any major-label music and have the conviction to stay completely free of it?

This is a load of bollocks and has NO model in which it makes sense without screwing some people over.

  4. Sprints doing something similar. on Lenovo Service Disables Laptops With a Text Message · · Score: 2, Interesting

Sprint offers a similar service with some of their WAN cards. The difference is that the Sprint card acts as a key to full-drive crypto. No card, no data. If the card is remotely disabled, no data. Really seems like a great way to lock down your laptops containing sensitive info.

What this seems to completely forget is the fact that you still have a BOOK after you're done reading paper. This is good for trading in or passing on to others who will take the class.

This works both ways, though. As an idealist, I would see this statement as saying that the person likely ISN'T a threat because they have been released. Thus, the registration is unnecessary.

It was just some dude talking with the occasional text showing up on the screen. YouTube as a medium for information dissemination is for complex ideas that require a visual aid. Not for making me stop my music to "read" an article.

Back it up. If you give statistics, I want references. If you wish to avoid scrutiny, use the weak vague language made for such bullshitting occasions.

    "..you're a vegan, are pro-abortion, etc.."

I think you'd be hard-pressed to find many people who are "pro-abortion." Not wanting the government to be in charge of such a personal matter is a far cry from jumping for joy each time a poor girl in a terrible situation walks into a clinic.

Once I build a few carputers, I have no idea what to do with these screens. Jukebox. Home automation.. Hm. Anyone want to buy some touchscreens? :)
