once beloved? oh please spare me. I have been coming here for over 10 years, and there have been stores like this for as long as I can remember. you're welcome cry all you want and go somewhere else if you would like.
I wonder if Obama will find the people at NBC who are responsible for this leak and give them the same inhumane torture as other recent whistleblowers have gotten?
Yes, it's really not that hard. People who are complaining just need to do a little more research. I got my wife a used at&t iPhone and put a goPhone sim in it. works fine. I had my Droid 2 on page plus for quite a while, and that worked fine too. I eventually got rid of my Droid 2. Now I have a galaxy nexus with a verizon lte iPad sim card. I don't make that many calls so that works fine for me. I get 2gb for $30/month with the iPad's data plan. There are many reasonable options depending whether you want just voice or just data.
I had page plus on my Droid 2 for quite a while. It was pretty easy to set up. Just call up their customer service and give them your device esn. You don't get very much data on their cheaper plans, but it's great for people who just want minutes and texting. I used their $12/month plan.
I been a Java developer for 8 years, worked at several different consulting companies and large in-house corporate environments. I've never seen Windows+Tomcat being used in an actual production setup. For development, yes, almost always. But Linux+Tomcat is much more common for live servers in my experience. At least it is in today's business world.
As a senior Java developer, I must be in one of those skill sets. I took a job two years ago with what I thought was a decent wage. And it was in the company's range. And now the similar jobs I see posted are making 10-15k more than me.
Seconded. I am a very occasional/casual game player myself, and I've never really been a huge fan of the FPS genre. When I was a kid growing up, I always loved mario and zelda. If I wanted to play games with better graphics, I would buy myself a better video card and use my PC. Now that I'm 35 and can afford it, I mosty just don't bother.
I'm pretty intrigued by these new chromebooks, and I am seriously considering getting one for my wife. She mostly just does web surfing, facebooking, and email checking, so I think it would be fine for her needs.
I am from Ohio and I visit friends in PA ocasionally. I used to buy a case of Yuengling and bring it back with me. Although we have our own dumb alcohol laws here, I think PA really does take the cake as far as ridiculous regulation goes.
I used to not drink coffee that much in the morning. Now I have two young kids who are constantly up at at all hours of the night. Since then I have been about three cups after getting to work. Can't get enough of it.
It looks like a really nice phone. I might be tempted to pick up a used one next year when prices start coming down. Unless they release an LTE version of the new Nexus phone. For now I am happy with my Verizon galaxy nexus and probably will keep that for a while.
I really hope this is true. I have the keyboard dock right now, and it works just fine with my iPad. There's no reason I shouldn't be able to run xCode on it with an external monitor. Why should I have to buy a mac to develop iOS apps?
I am from Cleveland, and let me tell you I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL THESE DAMN COMMERCIALS ARE OVER. It really is like being slapped in the face everywhere you go. I thought we might have a break after the 2010 mid terms, but I was wrong. The next round for primaries started almost immediately. I'm hoping it won't be as intense, at least for a while. BTW - I am not voting. I think it is a waste of time.
I'm also on Verizon and even though I am no longer unlimited, I was still really hoping for another LTE nexus. I guess I will probably be hanging on to my galaxy nexus for awhile longer. If anyone wants to go ahead and say it's not a nexus, that's fine, I really don't care too much. At least it's something with stock Android. I'm happy enough with it.
There is a huge difference in monthly price for a tablet data plan. I have the latest iPad on Verizon LTE for the $30/month 2gb data plan. I used to have my galaxy nexus on a smartphone plan which ran over $80/month for the cheapest voice/texting/data. I had Verizon transfer my data plan over to my iPad and it was MUCH cheaper. Plus both devices use a micro sim. I put the iPad sim in my phone, and now my galaxy nexus is now basically a data only smartphone using google voice.
That is good to hear. I worked as a developer at a couple different software companies in the past, where people were constantly there past 6 or bringing their work home the entire evening. Now that I work in the IT department of a large corporate headquarters, most everyone is gone by 5. Sometimes I even work through lunch and leave at 4 and nobody seems to care as long as I get work done. I find I enjoy programming much more under these conditions.
Really? according to that article, Nokia has turned back into a profitable company.

The new Samsung Chromebook has that quad core ARM SoC for $250. That seems like a fairly decent price/performance ratio to me.
Even when you account for these spammers, capitalism still has less overhead and more societal benefit than socialism.

I have google voice on my galaxy nexus. I won't ever need to pay for texting again.

So why not just log in under a new tab? Your browser session will then transfer over to the other tab. Or am I missing something?

I think Alabama has an absurdly low abv limit for beer, if I remember correctly. something like 5 or 6 %.

I don't know about you, but I wear regular size 32" pants and it fits in my pocket just fine.

I live in Cleveland, where our motto is... "At least we're not Detroit"

It's not my salary, just a number I picked. The going rate for a senior developer in my area seems to be hovering around 85-90.
