    Just because it's a different problem doesn't make it any less relevant. Until those problems are resolved, any over-spending such as a space mission should be kept at a minimum.

    Don't forget the cost of the parts and the fuel to get there. Those costs will end up in corporate coffers which are largely untaxed. The amount that comes back into the government would be so watered down that so much else would suffer.

    They sure as hell aren't going to be taking the money out of the military budget, so where else would it come from?

    That's not a bug, it's a feature. I frequently grab text from the last known addresses without necessarily wanting to go to the page again (E.g. download heavy sites, buggy sites that crash the browser that I need to submit a bug report on.)

    Maybe it would help if the Government endorsed green fuels a little more. Here in Australia, we have a Government that taxes extremely highly, but doesn't provide any incentives to green fuel companies.

    Interesting to note that those who habitually smoke Marijuana misread "100 times" as "double".

    I'm in no way anti-pot, and am an occasional smoker. For around a week after getting baked, I always have hightened levels of creativity and, surprisingly, a higher attention span.

    I think advertisers must read Slashdot - not long ago people were saying how "if I could block newspaper ads, I would," and now they're releasing Flash based ads in newspapers.... Because they can!
