Automating encryption of data for sending to partners using PGP was easy enough with GPG. However with new FIPS compliance issues and GPG not being FIPS validated, that pretty much leaves only PGP. I know about FIPS capable OpenSSL, which we use. Some places ( using PGP ) want data encrypted before being sent across an OpenSSL tunnel though.
It would be great if libgcrypt was FIPS validated.
This kind of stuff is just crazy... Every time I tell a story like this to one of my friends they can't believe it. But stories like this keep happening.
What ever came of the White House email fiasco? Buried under the rug, forgotten in time?
VMtools will give your guest os some extra functionality, eg. time sync with host, better guest interaction with the host desktop, etc. It is nice to have if you are going to be using x in your guest os.
Seems to me that this virus comes out fairly soon after trying to force w2k people to submit to a system scan... might they be encouraging this? Since those who opted not to get scanned need to get a patch now?
Doh!

Aren't there laws about illegal wire tapping?

It worked for me.
The server version is free, workstation is not.

Spot On! Just might be time for a good revolt. Change is good, and we are in need of some change in this country.
