    • USA - 307 - 4,401,698
    • EU - 541 - 3,635,604

    So with about 250 million people more we consume about 800,000 GWh/yr LESS

    So yes I'd say the USA is a wasteful economy and should do something about it.

    I agree. Let's start with kicking the United Nations out of the country. Maybe the U.N. would rather be headquartered in Qatar!

    You forgot to mention the unions. They add a layer of complexity to where you can lose your job for not getting to work on time but the union has contractually worked out with the city that no union employee can ever be held liable.

    Recently, there was a lady that did not partake in a class action against Honda and won $9,800 in small claims. If everyone getting 128kps (at best) took individual cases to small claims (where the participants generally cannot use lawyers, either) I bet something would change.

It is to explore and seed the human race so that we can improve technology and create habitats external to this one planet.     Actually, I do deserve the work for free, at some point. If a "copyright" protects a work for so long that my just born children's future children cannot expect to benefit from the license the government grants then it is no longer discernible as a benefit to the people and has become another government payoff to bribery.

    Apparently you've never been to California. Try that as a teacher out here (from the union that took an 8-figure loan to pay for the previous bond initiatives) and see how fast the brown shirts appear. I particularly liked watching the police ignore a woman teacher being beat on TV by the union thugs while they pretended to do something else. Got to love them unions!
