Of Course Apple is crowing! But they are not the first to have computer books... I don't really know who did it first, but the XO from OLPC has Apple, Kindle and everybody else in this article beat. And don't forget E-How, etc., either!

Anyone really considering the 're-branding' should consider carefully the saga of Datsun's change to Nissan -- that nearly killed the company and they are STILL trying to recover their lost glory.

If the rate quoted is US$4.99/minute, that is ridiculously expensive. A look at the Prepaid SIM Cards available from Telestial.com and others shows that much cheaper rates are available from world, regional and local SIM Cards. Of course this depends on whether you have a sim-unlocked phone to use. Both AT&T and T-Mobile will do that for a reasonable or no fee for individual traveling overseas. BTW, I am not an employee of nor compensated by any firms mentined.

Never mind the convienence of pausing. How many of you will take of your shoes in a theatre -- ugh! The theatres need to increase the nut and clean their floors daily. Then I might return if a decent movie shows up.

In Tennessee, the Legislature is Part-Time with small pay. There may be a few with advanced knowledge, but mostly they depend on outside help to understand complex issues. Lobbyists provide the bulk of this outside knowledge and of course their advice on issues is carefully balanced. With help like that, the Legislature then places their nominees in positions of power in the various reulatory boards and then have another unbiased opinion to rely on.

Then, of course, there are the conferences and seminars that the legislators attend, NOT AT TAXPAYER EXPENSE, in various places.

    Not exactly bribery, but....
