As a parent of a six year old son I am incredibly pissed that George Lucas would put out a PG-13 version of Episode III. As a lifelong fan, and someone who introduced Star Wars to my kids, I had hoped for a movie I could take my son to see.
I'll be damned if I'm going to have my six year witness the "slaughter" at the Jedi Temple, or give him nightmares from the violence.
What arrogance of Lucas! Perhaps he wants to listen to my son cry!
I won't take him to see this movie.
And no, I'm not some crazed Christian, or right wing zealot. I just believe that good parents should limit the violence that their kids see in TV and movies.
