Rather, there are exploiters and vices which thrive in the vacuum created by weaknesses of the human soul. The belief that human greed in the world can be defeated by replacing corporations with other structures is fallacious.

    Good points.

    BTW: DEC, RSX11, VMS, OpenVMS and Alpha used to be my bread and butter. OpenVms in many ways, is still the best OS around in my opinion. If back
    in the old days, Ken Olsen had released VMS under some sort of GPL
    license, can you imagine how different the world might look today?

    Now I'm a Linux head. Hard to resist e=mc**2.

    Companies receiving these invalid invoices should start filing counter actions, i.e. file SEC complaint, criminal (fraud, RICO) complaints, etc.
    The cost is relatively low to file these types of complaints (less than the cost of a SCO "license").

    The cost to SCO of answering all of these would begin to take on real proportions.

    Watch SCO insider stock transactions then.

    The above claim is simply not true. Firstly, as we all know, there are a variety of exploits affecting non-Windows operating systems. Moreover, you can be an expert, doing everything right and still become a target and victim of some form of attack, regardless of the type of platform you are running on.

    Finally, if you don't want to pay for commercial virus screening software then don't. There are GPL-ed projects which provide similar tools which you can use (and hopefully support).
