Agreed!
The article doesn't say or even suggest that actually building a single 92 by 92 mile grid to power the whole country is actually a good idea. It just said that plants covering the equivalent of that area could generate enough power for the whole country. It was simply an example of how much power could be generated by a comparatively small area of the country.
Clearly it would make a lot more sense to build lots of these things all over the country (closer to where people live). Even in areas where the sun might not be quite as efficient for this sort of thing, the costs would still be relatively low (especially in the long term since the "fuel" is free).
For areas where there isn't enough sun for this to make sense some other kind of energy production would be used. Just because this won't work everywhere doesn't mean it's a bad idea.
Solar Thermal may not be a silver bullet to end all of the worlds energy problems, but it certainly could be a pretty big help.
Macs have supported multi-button mice for years. They came with single button mice for a long time, for a myriad of design reasons, but they can use multi-button mice. I've been using a standard 2 button mouse with a scroll wheel on my macs for years, and the new ones (ie the iMacs) come with apples new 4 button mouse (on of the buttons is also the scroll ball, which allows you to scroll up and down and left to right).
I actually recall, when watching the video of Iwata's keynote speech that he actually did say there would be a more traditional controller sleeve type thing. It's toward the end as I recall.
Someone else already mentioned the Gamecube controller ports, so there's that, and if you watch the video of the speech, (available on IGN here, and there is now an article on IGN now that talks at least in part about this very aspect, and includes a mock up of what it might look like) you'll see them say that there will also be a "cradle" atachment that the controller will slip into that will essentially give you a traditional controller for those games that would work better that way. So I wouldn't worry too much about Tekken, etc.
That was my favorite effect too. That and the part where it would make it look like the TV had turned off.
I Loved! that the game messed with you and not just your character. Brilliant!

I was thinking this probably means they're going to make a new Eternal Darkness game. Which would make me really happy. I loved that game...
