This money would be a great incentive to get homebrew running on the Wii, (which is lacking due to the availability of modchips). The wii is an excellent console, and I'm looking forward to being able to do more with it.
It seems like this new "Playstation home" crap that Sony is really pushing is going to be an over-hyped piece of junk. Given Sony's track record for the past few years, it'll just be a rip off from Second Life, Xbox achievements, and Nintendo's Mii's all wrapped up in one big rootkit.
I'll stick to buying a Wii then an Xbox360 thank you very much, and hey both of them will total the cost of one PS3.
This is only going to get worse. According to the blog at F-Secure, there is so many variants coming out it isn't even funny. Also, it doesn't help that just by allowing google desktop to index the file, you can get a virus. From what I can gather, you can unregister shimgvw.dll, but the problem lays deep inside Windows, so you still aren't 100% safe. There is also an unofficial patch out, but how many newbie computer users will actually apply it? I have a feeling that this exploit is going to be a real bad one until Microsoft can release a patch, as tons of different worms and trojans can be released into a machine with this exploit.
Maybe they could just merge the roomba and the Sniper bot and create the "iSoomba", a sniper robot that efficiently cleans up the dead body when it's done killing!
Yeah, so I should just create a goal, and attempt to accomplish it?
I have tried that once before (in ruby), but it ended up with everyone telling me to learn the language first:-/
I'll try it again though. Perhaps in Python, or something that doesn't need to be compiled.
Pretty awesome, I wish I could program. Problem is, everytime I attempt to learn a language, I can learn the basics (Variables, print, etc.) then I get lost when it comes to actually writing anyhting at all. I need to find a decent language to try that is easy. (Besides ruby and python, tried em)

In fact, I really really think you should read it :)
Thats great, same to you too :-)
The article looks pretty good, I haven't read all of it, but it seems to point out some strong points in mysql.

oh, I know, Its just that I wish programming in general could be a bit simpler to learn (I've read books, tutorials, the whole thing).

Then why not just get Firefox? It'll give you everything this plguin has, and more.
Seems like microsoft wants to get on the bandwagon for anything popular these days. (Rss, Voip....)
Well, you had to have known that corporate America would be in there, if it hasn't been for the past few years already _
