An 8% dip in stock price could never be considered an entry point for a contrarian strategy... especially with GOOG trading at almost 90 times its earnings and with a PEG of roughly 2.50.

Or perhaps the problem is that it shouldn't overheat wether I have it in a chair, over the carpet or rolled inside a couple of blankets. Come on it's a friggin piece of hardware people pay $300 to own, it should work properly under all acceptable conditions. Now the original xbox was a pretty good product tech-wise (I'd rather have a PS2 for gaming purposes, mind you, nothing can take me away from the FF series) but this new iteration of the gaming system just seems to be lacking, is there anything microsft can't screw up? All this is less than a week after release, is there anything else lying underneath the release cacophony waiting for the right time to come up and elevate general disappointment one notch further?

More like just because you're in MTV does not mean your music blows. But then it'd be lying, so just don't take notice and fast foward to the next comment.

Google is paying adense publishers, not adwords advertisers. Publishers, i.e. webmasters who display Google ads in their websites are paid either by cheque or interbank transfer (and that's by deafult when they reach $100, if I am not mistaken). Not all publishers are advertisers, well I certainly amn't.

Easy, they'll hire the newly form army of underpaid mechanical turks to write a 3-cents-worth informative preview on every and each book page they sell. Is amazon going down the drain or what?

GP would be stupid enough it the article had anything to do with North Korea, but being that it's about Linspire's offer to SOUTH Korea's government just makes it ridiculous.

I hate to break it to you, but there won't be a HitMovie.avi for you to download in a few years if this becomes the norm. Are you from the past? Thanks for making me feel like a time-traveler. That's because in my time we don't have hit movies, only shhh... Well, that ought to be a nice getting away from TTs dwelling in cities devastated by a vague catastrophic event.
