I belive everyone should be assigned a unique 7 digit account number. Also on top of that I would like to see a three digit number prefix that would group my contacts in some sort of order (geograpic loacation perhaps?). I might even come up with country codes on top of that for even more organization. Also a standalone hardware device would be great. Maybe one that could be hung on a wall, placed on a desk, or even a wireless device that you could carry with you. Adding a 10 digit keypad to this device would be great, so you could press the the digits that corespond to the to the IM buddy that you are trying to reach. Heck, you might even want to throw on a speaker and a microphone on the device so you could verbally chat... damn I'd better find my patent applications
With the whole Master & Slave controversy going on, it should not be long before the FAT system get banned. Or at least renamed "No really your butt does not look big in those pants file system"

1. Amount of content is not sufficient Compared a sample web page from CNET to Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment and found the Dostoevsky's single book to provide far more content that CNET single web page.
2. Switching screens while viewing CNET is not cool Compared switching between CNET web site screens and found it was no where near the fun of pushing buttons to switch screens on our new 42" Pioneer Plasma TV.
3. CNET is slow Compared the load times of cnet.com and found the page load times to be significantly slower than localhost.com. What gives CNET? can we have a little optimization?
4. CNET does not allow to make high quality margaritas Once again CNET faltered when compared to our new KitchenAid blender when it came to making margaritas. We were not even able to find any third party accessories to add this functionality to our CNET homepage.
5. You want a choice in online advertising You would think that with an article on the Ipod you would atleast be able to check prices on it as they provide for most of the other players.
Not at my Mac at the moment. But normally when a reboot is required a little blue icon of the Apple power key is shown next to the update, denoting that installation requires a reboot.
go to http://www.thinksecret.com see their article on Jag, look for the screenshot of the keyboard menu in Jag, you'll see clarus the dogcow is working at Apple again.
If you want real good support of your old legacy softtware, buy an old computer.
Mac SE's can be gotten for under $50 and
286 - 386's probobaly just as cheap.
Probably cheaper than the software he pedals.
Onward with new technology!!!
Let me preface my comment with my biases: I hate Microsoft, avid Mac user, firm beleiver in Reaganomics. That said... I do not feel there is anything wrong with a company such as Microsoft becoming a monaoply or staying a monopoly, as long as they are a good corporate citizen. But the fact the Microsoft likes to play dirty pool and break all the laws that monopolies are supposed to follow, I hope they get what they deserve. Hopefully if the appeal can be quickened straight to the Supreme Court we will get a ruling while it still pertains.
Had a conversation with my insurance agent a couple of weeks ago and he told me a story about a guy who reported his boat stolen. It was a rather large boat somewheres in Florida, I beleive. After he called it in stolen the insurance company called one of the sattelite tracking companies and on the next pass by one of their sattelites of his property, click a picture. The picture was taken the day after the claim was filed, and lo and behold the boat was still on his property. In jail now for insurance fraud.
Just announced the US Patent office has just approved a patent for one Issac Newton for his invention/discovery of gravity. All persons who are currently using gravity without paid licencing fees are order to cease use imeadiatly. Major lawsuits are expected as my corporation have alleageady used gravity to their advantages (ie. keeping people seated infront of thier computer too long,.........)

Is it just me, or can you see the phone sex industry salivating over this one?
Well this should guarantee Apple with at least 6% of market share for Itune.
with Mac OS at 3% market share
and everyone that owns a mac installing iTunes on their work computer another 3%
Not a bad start. (I included in both 3%'s)
Here is a short review of Matlab 6.5 Review
