I'll bet your left nut that they intend to use Windows Vista and High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection.
Can't do that, lost it during the "really unix has a bigger user base the windows, it does, really.. er.. put away that knife there, i tell you.. put it away" bet.
The Dutch don't get hurricanes.
We don't huh?, thats funny, cause i can remember storms during the fall that had hurricane speeds to it, along with springtide and other various things nature throws in. Still no flooding occured then.. why?, cause the system in place works.
The good people in new orleans should revise their "water strategy", I'm sure that Dutch engineers will be more then happy to help them out.
For those who say "yeah but new orleans is below sealevel",guess what so is 2/3's of the netherlands, the place i grew up in was 7 metres below sealevel. So in a lot of ways the New Orleans area is similair to the Netherlands. It's just that we figured out ways to keep the water out (for now anyways).
Can't see the use of RSS3 when pretty common elements are stripped out.. couldn't find the enclosure element, which is kinda vital for podcasters. Not to mention other elements that have gone MIA.
Lite and full?, whats next RSS diet tips?, c'mon, we got enough flavours of the day..
Nope seeing the enclosure tag can hold just about anything, its not restricted to audio. The application we wrote does both audio and video (http://www.lionhardt.ca/wps)
No rss means it's not a podcast, it's just mp3

I am not their fan either, but they are withing their rights here, Besides who really needs a AV for unix anyway ?
640kb should be enough for anyone.. remember that particular phrase?
Until blogging "matures" it's not likely to be as big as predicted, currently 70% of all blogs just lay dormant and take up space, of the remaining percentage few have anything decent to say, not unlike traditional broadcasters;)

Same in Ottawa, evaporates in the summer, freezes in minutes in winter. Don't need no stinkin' device for that hehe

Nuff said!
see subject, says it all really
Use a tool like WebPod Studio (http://www.lionhardt.ca/wps/) and you can see what RSS can do if applied within reason
Gotta love that outsourcing eh..

Glad to see there still are level headed people out there
