In my opinion the mere act of uploading obvious gibberish would be enough of argument for YouTube to delete the video. Same thing if you uploaded a video containing only white noise as the picture: it's there just to waste Google's hard drive space.
Although CGNAT goes against the Internet's original end-to-end principles, ISPs say they are forced to use it because IPv4 addresses are running out, and IPv6 is not widely implemented.
Well, implement it then, for crikessakes! It's your job!

My main hurt about not using Linux as a main OS is that the stupid Flash is not hardware-accelerated. Even YouTube often is still unable to deliver some video in HTML5.
Personally I am still waiting for the day when Windows Update will be able to recognize drivers and install & update them.
Huh? It is able to do that just fine. Another thing is whether they have the most cutting-edge driver available. As part of their quality assurance I think they tend to be a bit on the conservative side.
Hah. The guy in the chair is so me. It was beginning of 2013 when I completed Portal 1 (last year: GTA4). But seriously, if you're a Linux dude and haven't tasted the cake yet, support Valve and get Portal soon, it's an excellent game.
Without Debian there'd be no Ubuntu or Linux Mint since they both pull packages from the unstable (read: under testing / "current" ) Debian repos.
When you look that sentence and think about it, Debian's role has changed more towards being a professional backroom workshop for other distributions. There's absolutely nothing wrong with this, this kind of ecosystem seems to work great. But for many people it's not the main OS but more like a solid reference implementation. Just an observation.
my password is '*********' so there will be no change for me
Seriously speaking, that (plain asterisks) might be a surprisingly strong password. It would be very weak if someone saw your keyboard, but otherwise, who would get the idea to try that? Even the automatic password crackers might not be prepared to check that one.
If someone's standing over your shoulder already, they can just watch your hands on the keyboard to discover the password.
But the chance of discovering the password is clearly higher if it's printed on the screen. I don't mind Red Hat showing the password, but your argument is not good.
Their web page has a cool effect where the top bar locks to follow you when you scroll down and at the same time the R# logo fades in to the left side of the bar. I'm scrolling up and down, up and down, weeee...
Just make sure to try all your peripherals and a suspend/resume cycle before committing to using GNU/Linux full-time.
Oh. In my experience hardware support isn't a big problem at all these days. You get better inbox driver support even than on Windows, so the random USB gadget you found from the corner of the parking lot might as well work plug'n'play. I don't know why Ubuntu disables hibernation by default as it in practice works just fine. The kernel is really good, all the major problems have shifted to the userspace and the graphical desktop these days.
Well, yes, that's because they can point to the 10,000+ active peers on a torrent for their good. You whine abouy DRM then pirate it then wonder why they blame piracy. It's the perfect scapegoat. If the people against DRM would stop downloading the goods they'd have no way to blame piracy.
I've been noticing this too. When pirates say that their response against DRM is to pirate everything, they are actually just making the vicious cycle stronger. Pirates are trying to say "DRM sucks", but they are actually saying "we love to pirate". And there's your problem. Your message as the content consumer is not clear. You could make your intentions much more unambiguous by either not buying anything, or the best option which is to buy DRM-free content. Carrying your money to the good guys has more impact than just making unlimited free copies for nothing.
Those are excellent questions to ponder every now and then. Would releasing full specs of the hardware to OSS coders reveal too much of secrets about the hardware? Would having an full-feature open source driver actually hurt or improve business? Why does Intel have no problem having a relatively open driver development?
This is true. You will taste much more of the beer when you drink it slightly warmer. Also the reason why the supermarket bulk beer contains phrases such as "drink ice cold!!" -- you can't taste how crappy it is.
This. Even for just temporary use, the whole thing is just horribly constructed.
A local encoder might still mess up things enough.
RTFA. He's using a bunch of images of QR codes, which have built in error correction.
Derp. The comment you replied to wasn't directly commenting the article but a reply to RightSaidFred99's comment about using steganography.

P2P file sharing will also take a hit, as there will be less users that your client can connect to.
Exactly!

I don't remember ever needing a web browser to validate Windows 7.

Linux users now can do cake jokes.

Does this mean that we can expect HL2 etc to follow shortly, given it's the same engine?
Yes.
The Linux torrents usually have more than enough seeders anyway.

What happened when you tried to start F18?

We only see scrambled mess of characters in place of your message.

OTOH, it's an excuse to talk about beer. Matter of fact, I'm having one right now. ;-)
Well, what did you have? I just enjoyed a couple of cheap-ass Grafenwalder from Lidl, Finland.
