I stand by my previous comments. I work as an admin with 4000 servers, box *nix and windows box as well as a 2 mainframes. We have over a thousand domains facing the internet spread across 400 internet facing servers. We have automated scripts for management of our DNS and We still only perceive this as a few hours work to change. Your comments suggest a poorly constructed infrastructure and an inflexible java admin system. being both a dev with over 20 years experience in the industry I can't possibly see how a well thought out java based app could require 20 days of work and testing to add these records.

wow you must have some real losers there, I could code you up a script to do this for all your domains and test it in under an hour and you require 20 man days to write a script to implement SPF records. tell your employer to better spend the $100,000 buy hiring competant admins.

you don't seem to get the point, because you are parsing based on assumed position you are more prone to breakage. And guess what if you change the parameters passed into PS you get different column numbers. The MSH way takes it as an object and hence it doesn't matter whether MS add or remove 20 new columns or move the virtual memory column to position X instead of Y it will still work.

you seem pretty ignorant when it comes to web based apps, the app was what was exploited to create the CC disclosure, it wouldn't matter whether it was IIS, apache or what the web server was running on. Bad apps are bad apps and no OS or web server in existance today could have prevented that.

despite what you may think, security vulnerabilities are seasonal and from what others have pointed out your logic and reading of the article is still wrong. Even the report points this out if you bothered to read it. Summer tends to be the high point for whatever reason and that is still to come.

My experience is the reverse lol, OS X locks up and windows XP just works when it comes to plug and play. Even my graphic artist sister has gotten so frustrated with the constant OS X driver and stability issues she has asked me to switch her back to an XP platform (which I can't do as while more stable XP doesn't have the same quality graphic arts programs).

ahhhh no we are not just handling mail, we have all our workflow in exchange as well public folder stores, over 12TB of data and apps all up. why I said you are only handling mail is due to your poor sentence construction of 200 applications "outside" e-mail.
