Ok. so you get this system working on quake or some other 3D shootemup. If someone could alter the communication between server and client this would get ugly: you are about to Frag your 10000th target when all of a sudden you seem to be moving in the opposite direction and this totally throws off your aim. I think getting Neurocracked is an interesting albiet scary concept.
Pure and simple it makes an example and sets a precident for how these things will be handled in the future. That is if people do not protest and make thier viewpoints known (which is something that I hope EVERYONE who hears about this is doing).
Also it is an example of how corporations are seeking to bully individuals and prevent any of them from deciding to provide for themselves instead of depending on corperations to provide the "next leap" in technology.
The part that I am interested in is. Why now? Why did the Norwegian government choose to move now? Were they being pressured? Surely there is some motivation behind this happening now and not earlier. Or am I just too suspicious (when corporate profits are involved I am always suspicious.)
I recommend that you read up on what is going on. When there is more than say 10,000 people gathering to protest you should really look into the reasons behind it.

Honestly the WTO is an organization that has to be rethought as a whole. In this country (america) it is very hard to get a bit of information that does not have some sort of a spin on it. I am not surprized by the lack of information concerning the WTO. By design the wto is not open to the public. Although heads of corperations are present at the meeting average citizens are not allowed in. I find this very disturbing. What I also find disturbing is that BILL GATES III!!!!! WILL BE CHAIRING THIS MEETING!!! If that is an indication of the quality of person that is at this meeting I would be very worried.

This document will not encourage "geeks" and "nerds" to come out of their emotional shell it will, on the otherhand provide the means for further emotional withdrawl.
