Who cares? My local paper is a left wing rag anyway. I'll just listen to the "free" local radio for local news and subscribe to content that has more quality.
I also would suggest the Livescribe Echo pen. It provides, written, audio, and digital recording. It is small and unobtrusive. It is the best thing I have found short of a video camera.
Teachers rarely get to provide input on the curriculum these days. In this atmosphere where teaching to the standardized high stakes state test is the norm, administrative clerks (principals and above) reach for any new scheme that they think will raise test scores. Most admin clerks have less teaching experience or curriculum knowledge than the teacher they lord over like demi-gods.
I have poor hearing. Health insurance does not generally cover hearing aids. I have had several major plans over the years. None of them have ever covered hearing aids.
I had to purchase a pair of inexpensive analog aids from Hearing Help Express. They work well if the environment doesn't have too much background noise or the sounds levels don't change from loud to soft or back too much. (No automatic level control).
Unfortunately, I'm a school teacher so the above conditions are rarely met.:(

Consider the source and the location - the far left.... Balderdash indeed!

For the time, a Tandy/Radio Shack Model 100 was a pretty capable tablet PC. I still have a couple that work.

Another vote for Linode. I have been with them for years. Linode's service and suport are excellent.
I'll skip this Mythbusters for sure. It is a repeat anyway and O'Bozo is a waste of time.

Why does NASA have to campaign for greater safety standards? Why can't they implement them without the "politicians" approval?
My wife flew to St. Louis last weekend. They confiscated her "assault" toothpaste. The tube contained more than 4 ounces. :)
