A girlfriend introduced me to MST3K years ago... It was perfect late night viewing on the Sci-Fi channel. I was so hooked that I scoured the internet for information about the show. Being in the UK meant that we only had access to the Sci-Fi era show, but in recent years, thanks to the likes of Google video, I have been catching up... Only this last Saturdady I had a marathon sessions of on-line viewing when something else I was supposed to be working on got cancelled - best eight hours I have spent recently.
And without a doubt - THEPUMAMAN - is my favourite line.
"You are aware a security company was conducting "exercises" on 7-7 in London simultaneously with the attacks? About bombs going off in the subway and on busses? At the *exact* same time the *exact* attack occurred in *exactly* the manner in which it happened? Reported on BBC audio, poofed away now."
You realise that this is vastly over stated. The company ('Visor') are a DR / BC consultancy - they were conducting a DR rehearsal for a client (not London Underground, not the Metropolitan Poice, not Transport for London) based round the scenario of a terrorist attack targeting northern central London.
DR rehearsals happen EVERYDAY. 'Visor' was acting on behalf of a company WHOLLY unrelated to ANY service affected on 7th July. The spokesman who made the comments obfuscated the actual story and played up the (non) coincidence and in return got his company name splashed around the press, tv and radio...
The insinuation contained in the parent is unhelpful and distasteful.
The stand out - absolute stand out...

...from all of this, has to be Piper. Talentless teen pop sensation turned geek posterchild. She made this series - she actually WAS this series (her character is and is responsible for BAD WOLF) and she has defied every criticism I could ever think of.
When she was announced I cringed - now I am whooping with joy - far more than CE, she MADE this (UK meaning of) series.
Very happy Who fan...
That's the monkey!! I was trying to remember the name of that damn app. Well actually, not a damn app - a sweet app.
Photodraw got me started on my first web site - it was great for logos and buttons. I liked it and could never work out why it was the 'red headed stepchild' of the MS canon. It was always hidden away on Office or Frontpage CDs.
Except, of course, traditional "US business culture" is the last thing you want to be pushing... It is a dismal failure.

That was the WWDC last year where attendees got a beta of Tiger.
So many MP3 players out there, so many people own expensive iPods...

When the mac was upgraded to OS X, did those old apps get relabelled again to 'Has bin applications'?
Well, let's see, err it is a little more open that an sbin.
Indeed - you may as well just tip your cash straight into one of these 'things'.
