  1. Borrowing on Sony Reader Taking Hold? · · Score: 1

Unless I can borrow my books to my friends or borrow their's, I am not interested in any of these technologies.

My books are MINE. I OWN them. I don't want something that will take away something that is so very much part of my life. I will not want someone to DRM my soul on the same token, I sure hell don't want DRM on my books.

  4. Really tried of this crap on BBC Tells World About The Warden · · Score: 1

I rather have an Warden that makes sure all the L33T uber rz0r pwn 0ur Azz people abides by the same rules that us normal people do. I am tired of good games like DAoC be destroyed by RADAR. EQ1 suffered from similar things too. If you don't like it .. QUIT fucken playing the game. Really, we won't miss you that much. WoW is NOT perfect but it is still one hell of a game. And to keep it that way, if Bliz needs to monitor that some low life who can't even play a fucken game without cheating then I am all for it. This fake sense of privacy is really really annoying. If you have a credit rating you don't have privacy, GET USED to it. Now if Bliz decides to abuse my trust, I would be the first one to thrust my foot up their ass so far that their head pop out their neck. Until then make my WoW please.

  5. It's really simple on RIAA Goes After Satellite Radio · · Score: 1

It's really simple.. STOP buying records made by RIAA. But that won't happen because having opinion (no matter how shitty) is noble. Having the balls to live up and stand up takes balls. Which most of you don't have. You have opinions but no balls.

I already quit buying Music CDs provided by RIAA. If you have the balls, stop belly aching and hurt them where it matters.. MONEY.

But like I said, that will take balls. Heaven forbid if we got rid of "manufactured" boy/girl groups.

  6. Re:Funny, I was thinking something similar... on Playing CDs a Privilege Not A Right · · Score: 1

Never become so accepting that you start accepting the unacceptable. But you know what, why not?? They can do whatever the hell they want: Sue moms and pops sure .. How about grandmas and grandpas?? .. Absolutely, why the hell not??

It's not that we are going to do anything about it. I bet you, you couldn't agree to wipe their ass the same way if their ass wiping rights were hindered. I tell you why, we all have oppinions!! Doesn't have to be right or wrong or even valid. And now-a-days it's a terrible thing to point out to someone, Hey, that's just stupid, get a clue.. Why you ask?? Because he/she is "entitled" to their "opinions".

When you sell right and wrong for point of views everyone looses. So grow some balls, stop buying music CDs. They will come back crawling on hands and knees.

But it won't happen... You know why?? That's right.. you have an opinion.. so screw the rest of us (including you) collectively.

  7. Re:Ah, the traditional ignorant redneck on PSP Smashes Sales Records in the UK · · Score: 1

umm we are more edumacated here in Canada eh! :)

  8. From a Sony fanboi on PSP Smashes Sales Records in the UK · · Score: 3, Informative

Well I have been often teased as such by my friends. I live in Canada and mostly, I tend to buy Sony because they have this Macish (making up words here hope it make sense) style to them. Very slick, very intiutive.

So, of course being a geek at heart, I went to buy a handheld. And after a bit of deliberation between DS and PSP, I was blown away by the PSP graphics and bought it. This is in the early days of PSP, when it was still hot off the press and very few people actually knew anything constructing about it and much about it was speculations.

So why am I feeling ripped off and let down:

    1) since release of PSP, I have Hotshot Golf (ps1 caliber game at best.. but fun to play for a bit), Untold Legend (yet another ps1 caliber game completely linear, idiotically simple), Need for Speed (this existed in the arcade from my 2nd year university days) and Dynesty Warriors (ps2 game, choppy as hell, most frustrating).

So where are the GAMES??? I think there is 3 or 4 game available that I couldn't get myself to spend the money on. I think I have wasted enough on the crap I already bought. Why is a Sony game device released with out any RPG??? Hello, Finaly Fantasy?? NO I don't want to be a fucken ghost and walk around town.

    2) What's with the crippled hardware??? WHY the hell would Sony do this?? Well I know why, because they want to code up the UMD for their god aweful movies that they are releasing all over the world with their fancy DRM. Anyone with more than 1 brain cell would realize that these movies are low quality in graphics and in sound and COSTS more than an actual DVD. And why make this cheap excuses for DVDs so bloody expensive?? DRM cost?? Why bother?? Who in their right mind will rip these crappy videos when they can do they can do ACTUAL DVDs?? Why region code in the first place?? it's a bloody hand held... Some corporate weenie needs to be smacked them hung from his/her finger nails (or made to live his/her mother-in-law for an year).

    3) Where are my bloody games?? I think I said that already.. Why is every bloody update designed to cripple my PSP even more??

I know DRM is here to stay and it's the corporate mantra for salvation. I am just feeling tired of geting ripped off no apparent reason and paying good money for it (other than corporate greed and exclusivness).

  9. Re:Obligatory Dire Straits on IBM Reports Indicate Linux TCO Is Lower · · Score: 1

Not necessarily, it could be Jesus talking to Jesus and being supernatural and exiting in all time continium I am sure it's not hard for Jesus to talk to the other Jesus at the very point of time where the two time splits.

But the situation on hand is far simpler. Right tool for the right job. I am sure IBM/Linux solution is just as valid in some cases as MS/Windows solution in another. It all depends on the culture of your company and the goals you need to achieve.

Beyond that, TCO claims are bullshits designed for the Upper management by other Upper management. Inevitably hyped up by the PR groups so the Upper management will have something to talk about while having $250 lunch.
