  1. Movie food prices? on Revamping the Movie Distribution Chain · · Score: 1

I see quite of a few of you complaining about the price of movie theatre popcorn and soda. This boggles the mind, I bring you this alternative, don't buy popcorn and soda. A Ticket is mandatory, but the rest is optional, I am quite sure you can sit down without eating for 2 hours. Movie food is the industries biggest volentary rip offs, just buy your tickets, watch the movie, and leave, eat somewhere else, its probably healtier that way. I mean, last I checked the olive garden is cheaper, now that says something.

  2. PS3? Bah on Xbox 360 Launch to Face Several Hurdles · · Score: 1

Well I hated all the versions of the playstation so far, and unless sony changes their controller for the ps3 like microsoft did for the xbox, I do not see the 3rd generation of playstation making an appearance into my home anytime soon. Maybe I am just biased, I think of sony like most of you slashies think of microsoft. Regardless, I don't want a controller that I can't even throw away.

  3. Game stargeted at adults. on Rockstar's Next Game Draws Protesters · · Score: 1

When are people going to realize video gamea are not just a medium of entertainment reserved only for young children anymore. The original gamer kids have all but grown up, and so needs to the gaming industry. We are now mature gamers, and we can handle games targeted at a mature audiance. Grand theft auto is just one example of a game not suited for young kids, but some parents just are to ignorant to realize that their are adult rated video games. There is a reason the ESRB rated games, and that is because their is a wide range of content ranging from pre-kindergarden to pure adult. This kind of thing does not go on with movies, people understand what a R rating, or X rating means, why won't these same parents realize what the hell an M or 17+ rating means. Three words for you people, GET A CLUE! Adult games are for adults not kids, if you don;t weant them to play them, DO NOT BUY THEM, pay attention, and stop blaming others for your failings.

  4. Integration on PC Makers See Little Reason to Deploy XP N · · Score: 1

I agree with what alot of you have said. Having Media Player or Internet explorer be standard with th windows operating system is not the problem. If anything, its a good thing, increases the operational and compatability standard of what tasks the lowest level of PC can handle. The issue I belive is not the bundleing, but the sheer extent of intergration these "applications" have with the operating system. They almost are as much a part of the operating system as explorer, and no "application" should be that integrated, its all about being modular.

Everytime I hear of poeple who cannot handle SP2, or are still running windows98, just confirm more and more to me that you dislike windows not because of its quality, but because you just don't know how to operate it. I think some of you jumped on the anti-microsoft bandwagon so long that you avoided microsoft to the point where you lost touch with the operating system. Sort of like us anti-apple poeple who think OSX is the stinko because, well, we just don't use it enough to understand its finite details. My suggestion is to stop complaining about MS windows problems and start trying to find solutions rather than blaming microsoft. You would be surprised at how much you can do with windows, I promise.

  6. effects on US citizens? on UK anti-ID card campaign Gains Momentum · · Score: 1

All us US citizens should keep a good eye on this report. The good old bush administration is attempting something very similar to this, with a similar reaction from the people. This type of law, no matter how small and insignifigant it may seem to you, very well may change the course the world takes in the near future. The question is however, at what cost? Our freedom?

Compatability is one thing, but firefox is still the newcommer to the scene. Firefox dev's should be more concerned with making their browser capable of properly reading all ie based content before creating their own little scheme. Not so sorry to say this, but IE still and will continue to hold the majority of the market. On anouther not, does the website work in safari?
