Perhaps I'm missing the point but I come here for news and chat about technology, hardware, software & geeky or nerdy stuff. Two Words for you: *******Ray Gun*******. Here is where your "technology" is headed towards. But the second a real-world assesment is made about the use and abuse with the technology, you want to turn a blind eye. Theres a certain level to which I am a geek.

How innovative is Windows XP if the games I played on Windows Me, which also worked on Windows 98, also run on Windows XP? As opposed to move on, else get left in the dirt? Lets see how this plays out in terms of programmers having to switch from PowerPC to intel optimized code. If support becomes a problem for the, now POWERPC clan, Once all your software cease to work on the next MAC, I guess i'll just have to deal with it cuz, heck, "thats innovation"!

As simply as I can put it its a another "invasion of privacy" scheme which does nothing more than distrub peoples right to privacy. I live in the US and I cant figure out how this helps in any way. For one thing in the US legal immigrants have to renew their ID's once every year. They have to give their finger prints every year and photos. Also there are other things such as SS or drivers License. For illegal immigrants, theres no need because they won't apply for one of these in the first place :-). So this system is pointless and also, redundent. It just disturbes peoples right to privacy for no apparent reason.

  14. Looking forwarding to it! Even though.... on Simpsons Film in Preproduction · · Score: 1

although the show has stalled with ideas since season 11, and have recycled the same plot over and over and over (eg: countless # of episodes where homer thinks marge doesnt love him and tries to win her back), I am willing to give the big-screen version a chance, just cuz.... well.... its the Simpsons.
