Which means that this decision decided to ignore the issue of rather or not one can commit sex crimes against one's self. Which is kind of unfortunate.
Not everybody considers this unfortunate. I doubt he "ignored" the issue; rather, he opted that the defense of a person willingly committing a sex crime against oneself is invalid.
That decision makes a lot of sense in my book.
But for most people, a much simpler way to save this much energy (or more) is as simple as remembering to turn off lights when not occupying a certain area.
I participated in a study abroad in South Korea, and people of many countries were there. I made good friends with one of the students from China and although there are several drinking photos of us together arm-in-arm smiling, we had a number of political conversations that were fairly aggressive. He was quite the nationalist, not that many of the people from my country (USA) are much better...
While in my room I brought up a picture of the Tiananmen sqaure tank man, and I asked him if he'd ever seen the photo. He responded with "of course", which didn't particularly surprise me. What did surprise me is that when we started discussing the events preceding and following that photo. He insisted to me that that same man in the photo later threw some sort of molotov cocktail down the hatch and killed the men inside. I didn't outright disagree with him at the moment (but I displayed my skepticism) because I didn't know for sure if that was true or not.
Well, unless my government played the lying game better than his (which in this particular instance, I doubt), that certainly did not transpire.
This was pretty mild compared to our conversations regarding the sovereignty of taiwan...
In other news Microsoft is making claim that odt is proprietary. It's interesting you should say this. I had taken an *.odt file from home to a Windows XP computer in one of my College's computer labs, forgetting that Microsoft Word is unable to open them. When attempting to opening the file with an unknown file type and selecting to "Have Microsoft search the web for an appropriate application for this file type", it states that it is unable to find any programs compatible with that file type.
Actually, a lot of the professors here seem to care a good bit. I'm a Junior in CprE/EE at ISU and I've been, in general, pleased with every professor I've had from our department.
I would like to second that Dr. Jacobson is a good guy, albeit a bit dishonest when it comes to getting grant money. Did I say that? Whoops...
No matter what your area of expertise, you'll find flaws whenever a Hollywood screenplay tries to mimic whatever it is that real people do for a living, or even hobbies for that matter.
As a guitar player, I find 90% of the instances when Joe-famous is playing guitar to be utterly hilarious. I'm surprised that even the audience can't tell that the actor obviously isn't playing what's being portrayed on the screen, but that's probably because I'm the only one paying attention.
I'm sure Doctors, Lawyers, etc. all find movies portraying their profession to be as ridiculous as us software folks do.
Yet I contribute to the english wikipedia, because I feel I master the language.
While I agree with your post as a whole, it's interesting that it is filled with incorrectly used commas and incorrect verb tense. Perhaps you should be more hesitant to edit the English Wikipedia.
I'm also of the opinion if we started using something which was naturally in abundance, like earth's magnetic fields, it would cumulatively and ultimately affect something we'd regret later.
Both of which would require the same amount of energy as just burning the fossile fuels to begin with. From where would you get that energy? A power plant that burns fossil fuels?
Fossil fuels are the cheapest way to go. If they weren't, we'd be using electromagnetism to fling ships into space (but we dont).

Sounds like somebody missed nap-time...
Right...
The question now is how do I file to get my refund? Is there any website with any sort of directions?
Tycho!
(I saw Obama earlier today)

Right, like solar power?
I may wear a small hat size... but... My shoe size, however... :)
