It also observes that higher rates of community intolerance are likely to foster the anti-social behavior and speed the ban.
If automated an intolerant core could try to get users expressing opinions that they don't like banned. The fact that they are subjected to intolerance would make the algorithm more likely to ban them.
Few years ago, when teachers were protesting against low wages in UK, protest was routed through biggest commercial street in London (Oxford Street). Before it has reached the end, half of the people protesting was gone, shopping (they came from all over UK, so being able to visit all the shops, both discounts and posh ones was a real treat).
If it passed a pub they'd have lost the other half too
Surely its a bug/bad design that it's possible to silently disable User Account Control, and enable a policy to start all applications as Administrator. If you can do this without acknowledging a UAC popup then it makes UAC itself pretty useless
In order to inspect the DDoS traffic to reject it, it has already come in over your internet. If they use all your bandwidth it does not matter if you drop the traffic, you are already dead.
For large companies Internet providers will install anti-DDOS software at the interconnect point. We have a 1 GBPS connection and whatever anti-DDOS software we had at our end could be relatively easily swamped. Our network provider on the other hand has a huge bandwidth (can't remember what) and swamping their system would be very difficult even for the large botnets.
The "this is super and excellent" reviews don't tell me much. I look at the bad reviews. Usually you can get an idea if a product is any good by the type of bad review. If there are many good reviews, but one or two saying "delivered late", "wrong product", or "damaged in transit", then I figure that this can happen occasionally but can be sorted out if it does. Some reviews will be bad because of different use-cases... if most people give high rating for sound quality on a radio but one or two say "distorts at high volume" then you'll probably be OK if you listen at reasonable volumes. Someone once gave a washer/dryer a 2 start review because it took over three hours for a complete wash/dry cycle. For us that didn't matter - we run it a few times a week and just set it going until it ends. Someone might complain about "complicated controls" on an SLR camera or "lack of flexibility" on a point and shoot... again it might not matter to you.
On the other hand if a lot of people complain about the general quality of an item, or lack of functionality that you would actually use then that's a good reason to stay away from one.
Filming a terrible event taking place is one thing; acting to stop it is wholly different, and far more courageous.
Seriously, we're talking about intervening between a crazy cop and his victim. How do you expect someone to intervene? The probable result would be two dead bodies, no photographic record, and your relatives claiming "he wasn't like that it must have been a throwdown"
So - the fact that others are doing it makes it OK? This is like the Muslims who say that they should be allowed to kill and rape because some non-Muslims do too.
Are you seriously saying that you are paying £55 per month for cable with a 200mb cap? I have never seen anything with a cap that low in the UK - that's one neflix program and your month is up
Google coverage of my area won't be older than google maps itself!
Finally, I can see past my own childhood!
W-what do you mean they never updated it... again? Oh. Okay.
There is a disagreement between OS and Google on what Google's licensing terms mean. Currently this has prevented the use of OS map layers on google (though they are used on Streetmap and bing. So I think it unlikely that google maps will use this soon.
I have no idea who is right about the interpretation of the terms of service, but it is preventing google's use of open sources OD maps
I don't get it. Alcohol? One half mv squared divided by one half mv squared where v(top) is 40 and v (bottom) is 30 yields 1.78. That's not four times... Unless there's relativity somewhere
You are right, to get 4 times the energy you need to double the speed - i.e. 60 mph has 4 times the energy as 30 mph.
On the Nexus (and possibly other phones) this is disabled by default. You need to go to Settings->Security then "Trusted Agents" in "advanced". It will then be enabled but still won't do anything until you go to "Smart lock" in the Settings->Security "Screen Security" section and enable one or more of "trusted places", "trusted devices", "trusted faces", and "on body detection". I think the "Trusted devices" will be useful to stop it locking when in my car and attached to the hands free.
As a Finn I can confirm that most of the education related articles about Finland are complete BS. This is mostly because the so called "journalists" can't be bothered to verify absolutely anything these days. Let's just say that nothing's really changed and someone from the local education committee of Helsinki is just trying to put frosting on a turd and sell it as a cake.
So what went wrong with Finnish journalism courses?
Why fight then in the east when you can ki kill them and their families at home? Islam has no morals.
Actually Islamic morals are the opposite of those held by decent human beings. Beheading someone because they say something you don't like is seen as a virtue. If a woman is raped then she is prosecuted and the rapist goes free. Forcing people with different beliefs to live as second class citizens is seen as a worthy activity. Lying to promote Muslims above others is an imperative.
thanks!
Just don't take more than the stated dose, the side effects can be disturbing.
Anybody who tells the truth that the scum in power don't want you to hear, apparently...
In days when someone can be attested for quoting from a published book by Winston Churchill I have to agree.

Next Amazon will be suing people for their fantastic reviews of The Mountain Three Wolf Moon Short Sleeve Tee.
Fortunately, the three wolf moon t-shirt's power also indemnifies the wearer of any culpability. Truly the most amazing shirt ever made by man.
Shill!

Maybe the taller ones avoid being suffocated in a dutch oven
Which blocker is it?
My youtube ad blocker works perfectly. I never see advertisements while watching youtube.
I'd happily pay for the ad blocker. I won't pay google for the joy of them not spamming me.
Does your ad blocker cope with the ads at the beginning of videos, you know the "you can skip this advert in 5 seconds" things?
Penalising better negotiators is hardly a good thing regardless if it's trying to promote equality. Really all they're doing is saving money.
I wonder if this rule will apply to recruiting contract negotiators and purchasers. If so they won't get the best.
So - the fact that others are doing it makes it OK? This is like the Muslims who say that they should be allowed to kill and rape because some non-Muslims do too.
Why are they implementing all this training network and colleges for the solar industry whereas the solution for IT is "issue more visas"?
30 per month. 11gb cap.
And my cable: 200mb, 55 per month
Are you seriously saying that you are paying £55 per month for cable with a 200mb cap? I have never seen anything with a cap that low in the UK - that's one neflix program and your month is up
In Europe we have this thing called 3G and 4G which both brings you reliable wireless broadband without wires. Approx $30/month.
... and capped data allowances - often at very low limits

Yes I'd expect this from the USA or the UK. But I thought Canada was better than that
