    I Agree, but the fact still remains that this has been in the iTunes EULA since iMacs came in assorted candy colors, and people where still trying to figure out which direction you held the round hockey-puck mouse.

    its almost as great as the 'apple-option-control-8' "easter egg" that inverts the screen colors. aka, keyboard shortcut for the universal access setting do do just that. also good for making your OS look all special and non standard, if you are filming a movie and need computers to look higher tech than they are.

    This lends so much to the idea that some things should have never been patentable in the first place. personally, virtual worlds seems like an obvious concept. hell, if you want to get picky, every fiction author creates one in one sense or another. burn down our patent system and build a new one.

    as one reviewer said, the text to speech has its special and unusual inflections, which, combine to make it sound oddly like a Norwegian with english as a second language, and with a speech impediment reading your book to you. replace voice actors my ass.

    never mind custom antenna, never under estimate random blind luck! I once got a connection from what i knew was a cheep linksys router from a distance of around 3 miles with an internal laptop antenna! only reason i knew what it was is i had done a service call on the darn thing the year before when i was working for a small ISP, and remembered the network name.

    all these ideas about air cannons and brushes, and i keep thinking about a design I read about for air conditioning units that somehow made it vibrate at intervals from the temperature variances, to knock loose the particles that scale builds up from. wonder of a similar system would work to shake the dust off the panels. (i swear i read about it after the landers where there) not withstanding my armchair engineering, How long have these been up there?

    and would be much greater if there where any TV stations in my area. Living on the edge of the world, where we are to primitive to HAVE broadcast television SUCKS. and i'm not paying 100$+ to the local jerks to have there 800 channels with nothing good on. thank god for the internet and hulu and youtube...

    I agree, seeing as there models cant tell me what the hell the weather is going to be like in 48 hours with any level of decent accuracy, I'm very inclined to call any detailed prediction about the state of the global weather in 1000 years a "Guess" not even and educated one at that, its just a guess.

    fajitas. ah yes, flank steak. As i live where they originated more or less, that amuses me to no end. 15-20$ a plate for the exact thing that 50 years ago, was the junky cut of meat that people gave to the illegal immigrants they where working for pennies a day.

    I can hunt, kill, and process game and eat it because that way, i know what went into the food I'm eating, who knows what sort of crap they put into your packaged food. I know for a fact that they dye the meat at many grocery stores red to make it look nicer in the packaging.
