So it's ok if the condom broke, or if the Pill failed? That makes it easy- you just have to lie to your doctor. "Of course we were using protection. I don't know how I ever managed to become pregnant!"

So that means you're sexually attracted to other 80s tracks, right?

If your two eyes are different enough then even with both eyes open the focus is determined completely by the better eye. I'm -2.0, -4.5 and if I focus on something with the better eye opening and closing the other one only increases the field of vision, not the focus of the boject.

It's not just "novice" users who use Google in place of the address bar. I use the drop down list of typed addresses for websites that I visit regularly, and then Google for things that I don't want cluttering my address list.

That's the one thing that I like better in IE than Firefox: IE shows links in the order that you last used them rather than the order you last typed them in.

"Secondly, they define "heavy usage" as "one hour per workday", or 60 minutes a day. Assuming they don't touch their cell phones during weekends, or after work, that comes out to 1320 minutes. A month. Dear god. I think perhaps 2-5% of the people I sell phones to get plans that would accomodate that."

Have you ever been, or been in contact with a 12-14 year old girl lately? Junior high school girls can rack up more telephone time than you would believe. I know I did at that age and I didn't even have many friends. If those girls have their still-developing brains blasted with all that radiation, what's going to happen to them in thirty years if there actually is a correlation between heavy phone usage and brain tumors?

  7. Actually did get to see it! on Shuttle Discovery Lifts Off · · Score: 1

I live in central FL, so I got up this morning and drove 45 minutes to New Smyrna Beach, which is probably 60 or 70 miles north of Canaveral. It was incredible. So many people turned up to watch.

What you see is a little red blaze followed by a huge trail of smoke, and it abruptly stops as the shuttle gets too high. A minute or two later, we could actually hear the roar of the shuttle over the ocean. Fantastic.
