Not what they said, but this is a *serious* issue. Iphones can be pwned (and android is far worse), and the current iphone hardware architecture provides no mitigating capabilities whatsoever. Apple needs to redesign their hardware before they put our money at risk.
Yup. This is scary $#!+. In 1776 we the people had the technology (the ability) to resist this sort of government abuse. Not today. I'm afraid of where this seems to be heading.

Why stop with pilots? P2P is a broadcast network, similar in ways to the open airwaves. Why not form the BTBN (BitTorrent Broadcast Network)? Show producers could sell the commercial slots and embed them into the show. People would figure out how to fast-forward if they want to (just like DVR, VCR, etc), but hey - this puts the commercial dollars right into the producers pockets.
