I couldn't agree more, us communists are gods chosen ones. I just thought of a use for all the republicans and democrats....use them as a landfill material for New Orleans before we rebuild. That should be enough to bring us above sea level. Yeeahhhh!

  4. HD-DVD Must be Smiling Now on Blu-Ray To Punish Users for Modifying Hardware · · Score: 0

Even if the movie studio's buy into blu-ray, all it takes is for everyone to boycott it and wait for the studio's to switch to HD-DVD one by one because thats the only way they will sell their product. Consumers tht buy into blu-ray are like women that stay with abusive husbands. Why?

  5. The illusion of security on Google Urged to Drop Images · · Score: 0

I'm not in australia but we're on the top five list of countries that they want to attack. I've worked on contract at nuclear facilities that make you jump through hoops to get clearance to work there, and after you do they give you some idiotic temporary parking pass that a child could duplicate that grants admission (if the guards even feel like looking for it as you pass them at 20 MPH..."hmmm piece of paper looks official to me" he says to himself as he smiles and waves you through. On top of that they post PDF's with topographical photo's pointing out each sector of the building and its purpose. All within a half hour flight of the airport. Oh, and I've also worked at the airport...more illusions. Security? We're on top of it!

just get a ADVC with a large external firewire drive and a cheap analog camcorder that will stay on input without going into powersaving mode (essentially throughput without genereration loss of analog tape) and record to a laptop using the many apps that are availabe regardless of OS. ie quicktime pro 7, dv grab, and whatever the equivalent that the piece of shit OS microsoft has.

  15. Snail Mail As Well on Cell Phone Records for Sale · · Score: 1

I recently got my cell phone bill and it had arrived opened and stamped by the post office as being received in this condition. Another curiosity was that my payment due date was handwritten on the outside of the envelope by someone and then badly whited out (which is why I could read it). So this was obviously opened by someone at the phone company or the company that prints the monthly billings or possibly the post office itself. I contacted the phone company and they said there was nothing for this person to gain from this information. Really?...
