  1. Interesting, but... on Stereotyping the Horde · · Score: 4, Insightful

To anyone that thinks the creators of WoW are racist: YOU come up with even TWO cultures for use in a fantasy game, then tell me that you didn't draw anything real-world cultures, and that you aren't a racist hypocrite.

  2. He's gotta be joking on No Time Travel, Sorry · · Score: 1

Surely he is joking? The unit of velocity is meters/second not seconds/second.

  3. Story rather than storyline on USPTO Issues Provisional Storyline Patent · · Score: 1

This storyline seems to owe a lot to the storyline of the movie Memento. Funny how he mentions Memento so much.

  4. Meh on USPTO Issues Provisional Storyline Patent · · Score: 1

It may set a horrible precedent; but it's pretty specific, and a pathetically lame story line.

  5. Sounds like fun. on Remote Control for Humans? · · Score: 1

So buggy games all of a sudden become deadly. Fun!

  7. Re:Once I signed up for Hot Mail... got spam inste on MS Speaks Out Against New Zealand's Anti Spam Bill · · Score: 2, Funny

"I once signed up for a Hot Mail Account"..."Within days my inbox was loaded full of Porn". From the sound of things, you should have been expecting it (or maybe you'd have preferred a 'Hot Male' account?)

  8. Opposing ideas on Reconciling Information Privacy and Liberty? · · Score: 1

    F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote that 'The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposing ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function.'
He was half right: It's only the intellectual middle ground that can't accept two opposing ideas at once.

  9. What a plan. on Riot Control Ray-Gun for Use in Iraq · · Score: 2, Insightful

    It's torture in a can.
