From the video I just watched, there's some kind of lens in front of the laser beam that disperses it into a wider light beam. The laser should only be thought of as a bulb, then.
Assateague. No seriously, that's the name of it. It's a public beach directly east of Wallops. Probably costs a few dollars to get in. Or you can go to the Wallops Visitors Center. It's across the road from the facility and has a viewing area on the roof. It's free.
This reminds me of one program I was using that abused mouse hooks to see if the user was idle. It would cause certain programs to spike when moving the mouse (probably processes with a lot of handles receiving mouse messages). Wasn't all that noticeable until the framerate dropped substantially in games, where one uses the mouse a lot. Once I figured it out, I stopped using that program needless to say.
We'll still have to keep supporting (i.e. making concessions and hacks for) crappy IE6 on our websites as it will still have something like 50% browser share from being preinstalled with XP.
Responsible companies in the adult industry such as ours have done a great deal to deter minors from accessing adult material Yes, I'm sure an index page with an age verification is all you need.
That's interesting, because I was getting a torrent from a seeder which resolved to students.harvard.edu a couple weeks ago. I thank that poor bastard.
I think they should stay away from multiplayer or let it be an afterthought like with the original. I've played the original game ten times now and never even considered playing multiplayer, because well...it just didn't need it. Many great games have snubbed the MP aspect and created better singleplayer games because of it...Bioshock, Hitman, HL2, NOLF, Deus Ex, etc.
I loved being able to see and hear more about the actual Atari E.T. game they parodied in Code Monkeys recently. Nonetheless, you could definitely tell the game was a huge pile of suck.

If only all of congress was leaving at the end of their term. Something other than naming buildings might actually get done.

Enceladus is ejecting matter from its geyser into Saturn's A-ring?
This sounds like pr0n to me.
