  2. wages on High Tech Wages - Salary or Hourly? · · Score: 1

I am a diabetic so I am sick a lot more than the average employee. I like to be salary for this reason, but I prefer hourly. Overtime wages can far exceed 6 or 7 extra sick days a year. I have taken comp time instead of overtime because my income doesn't go way up and I get and hour and a half off paid, for every hour of OT.

I bought it after the owner had blown up the engine and the car caught fire. I have done a little bit of the fixing (sanding, finding all the parts, praying) but it has been almost two years and I can't even see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. I thank my mechanic and his drug dealer because he's been doing all the work virtually for free. It runs. I REALLY miss my 1972 Corvette Stingray with a 454 in it. I got an offer I couldn't refuse.

The developer made a decision to give people the tools to commit illegal acts. You would only do that if you wanted someone to use it. BAD BAD man. But our government allows us to do these kind of things so no crime so far. Someone took his tool and made a decision to commit an illegal act. He is responsible for that act. You will come to a forked road in your life and you must choose the path you want to travel. The developer should have to fix the wrongs that were committed against the victim, be it paying for new equipment or fixing the problems. 2nd guy is the criminal and needs jail. So if you give someone the tools to do wrong you should have to clean it up and make everything right when the crime is committed. I believe that could be a very BIG deterrent.

I can build it nothing illegal. You use it very illegal. I gave you the knowledge to do it, now I am an accomplice. The person committing the crime is guilty of that crime. But since he could not have committed the crime without your help, you are his accomplice. Remember Charlie Manson? He didn't kill anyone. A book publisher called Paladin Press got busted in a scenario like this. Read how the courts got them.

  14. Hackers on Slashdot's Top 10 Hacks of all Time · · Score: 1

My dictionary says a "hack" is to cut roughly or unevenly, deal cutting blows to. This would describe an act of vandalism. So a hacker would be a person that fucks with (not even nicely) your shit. I am fairly good at breaking into places where I am not suppose to be. Also very lucky that I have not been caught. The reason I haven't been caught is because I just observe and learn from where I am, not be a total piece of shit and fuck up or change someone's very important records. It is a shame that some people (people ha) have to vindicate their own piddly ass lives by screwing with someone else. Why? Do unto others as you would have them do unto you is a way of life for me and should be taught to kids in school. That's why I also believe that what I do is NOT hacking and I need to find a name to get out of the insulting label of a hacker. Nosey? Voyeur? Trespasser? Don't brag about hacking someone's site to me either because I believe that the person hurting others needs to be hurt in the same way, so as to know what hurting someone feels like, and then stop it. I have no qualms about becoming a hacker and going to their site. Revenge is sometimes the punishment deserved. Don't even get me started about people who create a virus and then pass it to us like it was a Christmas bonus. So basically hackers are like the little kids that graffited my garage door with their gang name. So when I painted "BLOW ME" over it they stopped.

Buying me a new expensive desk, special keyboard, and a special mouse is not going to help my carpal tunnel when I play video games at home with my kids for hours on end. I know this is going to help a lot of people, but I already see too many people are going to take advantage.
