If the goobermint realizes the danger posed by millions of easily hacked toy computers, perhaps Microsoft will be declared a terrorist organization. A few dozen Tomahawks aimed at Redmond couldn't hurt.
If Windows is so easy to install, why do people pay me to install it for them? I conclude the author has never installed a retail version of Windows on a generic computer, but is basing his opinion on experience with OEM 'restore' discs.
This myth rates right up there with the 'Windows is more intuitive and easier to use' silliness. I've had the opportunity to expose first time users to Windows and Linux, and in my experience, new users learn Linux just as easily as Windows. Please someone tell me what is 'intuitive' about double clicking, as just one of many examples. Many old folks have a real problem with holding the mouse still long enough to manage the task. Put someone who learned to single-click in front of a double click box, and they wonder why the computer won't work. That's intuitive?
"In a few weeks, we might see some stickers on the sides of the equipment that politely tell people to not be idiots."
Excuse me! You think it will help to tell people who've just bought an XBox not to be an idiot?
Seems a bit late, doncha think?
What wrong wiff usin' shothan English, as long as ya knows da answer, Beeatch? and git Sheniquah's ass back ova' heeah.
Wake me up when this crap can affect my Linux comnputer.
How the hell can you patent a damn database?
...and why should I care what his lame-ass opinion is?

Somebody wake me up when there's an email virus that affects my Linux box.

Here in Panama, Dell and other call centers pay US$500.00 to start. That is almost double local minimum wage.
... to screw their users and to continue to sell shit sandwiches at ham and cheese prices.
