For the unit of measurement equaling approximately 1.094 yards, meter is the American spelling, and metre is preferred everywhere else. The same distinction applies to the terms used in poetry and music—meter in American English, and metre everywhere else. Here’s the tricky part: For any type of device (i.e., an actual machine or gadget) designed to measure time, distance, speed, or intensity or to regulate current, meter is the preferred spelling everywhere.
As opposed to FlyHelicopters who obviously lives in a magical land inside his own head where he's always right, and if he's wrong, reality magically transmutes itself to match. Yeah.
If you have to link to Breitbart as proof, then you've already disproven your own claim.
It's also a bit misleading of you to say only that "a Russian bank paid Clinton $500,000 for a speech" to make it sound like it was *Hillary* who got paid when it fact it was *Bill* who gave the speech and got paid for it, something that even Breitbart managed to get correct.
So... you not only need to cite Breitbart, but to cherry-pick even then? That's pretty sad.
"Hollandish" is not even an English word. The English demonyms are "Dutch" and "Dutchman". If you don't like that, you're free to go post on a board that uses some other language than English.

For those of you playing along with us at home, "little while" in this context means "at least a quarter-century". Seriously, get with the times already.
Hello, "normal" computer language IS mathematical.
All your arguments are entirely touchy-feely in nature. And your example is nonsense.
Basically, you want the computer to know *precisely* what you mean no matter how *imprecise* your instructions are, and this is very likely Never Ever Gonna Happen.
As someone who's actually emigrated not just once but *twice* I find that your diatribe rings a bit hollow.
For one thing, I think you're taking quite a lot of advantages in your own background for granted that are not likely typical for immigrants from many African or Asian countries.
The most significant difference is that ITT attempted to allow the plebes into the middle class.
How exactly would that be different from the "plebes" attending community college? Other than that they'd likely spend less money and obtain a degree that might actually be worth the paper it's printed on?
Despite our history, I'm here to help you out. No, really. So pay close attention:
Nobody needs to do anything to make you look bad. That's a trainwreck you're obviously quite capable of having on your own.
People bait you because it's well-known that you constantly scan Slashdot and other sites looking for people saying things about you. And they do it because they know that you will without fail rise to the bait. Q.E.D.
The only way for you to "win" this is not to play, but you are evidently too dense to figure this out, so you just keep coming back for more. And more. And more...
Which distro is it that you use that has these issues? I'd honestly like to know, because I've been using Linux for 10+ years and I didn't know of any prior to being alerted by your post. This is important info which you shouldn't hold back!
I mean, it would be absolute madness to download a patch on one machine to use on another (or several others).
Well, this IS Microsoft, after all. Not only designing for the lowest common denominator, but effectively mandating that anyone who actually has a clue constrain himself to that level, regardless. They've only been doing this for about 20 years now.
Irony meter just exploded.
Surely you mean "metre"?
Surely he does not [boldface added]:

I see you've received a couple of -1, I'm Butthurt by Uncomfortable Truths mods. Stand tall, son, and wear them proudly.
Trump gamed the system. That's what he stands for, after all--gaming the system as much as possible.

I was going to make a case for Ballerinas, Tim-Tams, and the international character of the 'Net. But what the hell... Seconded.

Whereas you're just a moron, no fancy prefixes required.

Nobody believes you lol.
PHP works just fine as a general-purpose scripting language. No web server required.

I saw Thulsa Doom in Trondheim over the summer. Not bad, but not really worship-level quality, either.
I think a more proper question might be, "What's your interest in defending ITT?"
You really think stack-ranking is the solution here?

... black people are now being told it's a betrayal to vote for the white man who's not part of the political class.
And the one who's sending that message out the most loudly and clearly is none other than Donald Trump himself, dipshit.

Windows 2K was the bomb. When I saw what XP was like, though, I knew the writing was on the wall and switched to Linux when 2K fell out of support.
One of the very few decisions I've made in my life that I have never yet regretted, not even once.
(*looks over shoulder, smiles and nods* Yes, honey, you're one of those, too. Honest!)

I put up with it for 10 of them.
I see the sarcasm, but I think you're playing with fire doing it like that.
(I'll STFU now and continue to enjoy your posts quietly. Cheers.)

(Already posted in this discussion else I'd mod you up.)
Here's one answer. (Looks like it tops out at around 55K/year.)
